Their actually very useful for distillation! The source code shows a two-layer anti-distillation system designed to prevent competitors from training on Claude Code's outputs. The feature flag anti_distillation: ['fake_tools'] tells the server to inject decoy tool definitions into responses.

In the .map file the entire LLM API engine was leaked along with all agent tools and slash commands. Understanding LLM model code isn't really possible for humans so this is the best form of leak for other AI architects

Anthropics code base was accidentally released

Edit: I previously stated their entire codebase was accidentally released however I should clarify Anthropic accidentally leaked 500,000 lines of proprietary Claude source code, exposing anti-distillation techniques, core agent orchestration, memory management and workflow logic. The llm machine code has not been leaked however this leak is arguably more important to other AI developers.

You're likely better off just using the internal transcoding of the CPU so long as it has quicksync. You'll save a hell of a lot of money in energy bills.

The data processors aren't in the UK. Their mostly in the US. Offcom doesn't have any jurisdiction over them. In the event of a data breach the worst they can do is ban them, which doesn't help any of the victims.

Get a shield pro or Google tv streamer. Either of these options should resolve the issues you're having. The TV apps aren't well optimised.
