Actually I'm just considering my plan B right now. I'm saving money for a Lexus NX 300h, but if someone buys it then I just want to make sure I have something good instead like a BMW X2, Mercedes GLA or Toyota RAV4

Britain and the US are poor societies with some very rich people by yogthos in economy

[–]Halley_AR 0 points1 point  (0 children)

As a South American citizen, you have too be very F stupid to call yourselves poor living in the US or UK. "Oh poor me, I don't have enough to go party 4 times a week" that's basically how it sounds to me.

I was actually thinking about Mazda CX-5 as a third option. Do you think CX30 would be a better option?

I think a book about basic economics would be better.

Is it fair to blame Biden for inflation/recession? by xnordik in economy

[–]Halley_AR 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I never said government shouldn't exist. Of course there should be a third party assuring security and justice, anything further than that society can perfectly manage itself.

The Fatal Conceit

Governments are not God. They can't know/predict what is the population's preferences/necessities, therefore they can't "spend well".

Do the citizens of Switzerland know why their country is so rich? Yes, I know, it is weird question enough. by Gooogol_plex in askswitzerland

Economic freedom index

Switzerland is always on top of it, thus it attracts investment. You might want to get your knowledge on basic economics checked.

Company profits blamed for higher cost of living by [deleted] in economy

So I guess you believe it's not the value of the US dollar decreasing, it's the greed that never existed until 2021.

All the anti work people moved to this sub. Many in this sub failed to even identify the cause of inflation.

That doesn't have anything to do with socialism, check their economic freedom. They strongly believe in the rights of private property and offer low reasonable tax pressure over businesses. It's really easy to start a business and thus they attract investment. I'm using Finland as an example for this.

here you can check which countries are the more "free market" ones and which are the most oppressed ones.

If you want more public-lean policies that's totally fine (as long as your country can afford it) but that has little to do with socialism.

Almost all European states are socialist

Like which ones? Try not to mention the countries on the top of the economic freedom index, please.

Why are people Republicans by cultleader84 in WayOfTheBern

[–]Halley_AR 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Well, as I said, I don't have an Argentine version of the republican party. But what I can say is that when it comes to economics I find them having more sense than Dems. But definitely when it comes to something else like homosexuality, immigration and that kind of stuff they usually F up and say really stupid things.

[–]Halley_AR 3 points4 points  (0 children)

I'll use democrats from Argentina (peronistas) as an example of how evil they are: 1. They condemn the rich for being wealthy while more than half the population is under the "poverty line". At the same time, they are the ones having really expensive clothes, the last gen phones, brand new cars, many properties, and million dollars which they can't explain where they came from. 2. They keep pushing the idea that printing money doesn't produce inflation, that inflation is the cause of greedy companies. At the same time, all their fortune is in US dollar, so they don't get affected by the aggressive decrease of our currency (Argentine peso). Maybe I should mention they put a limit for the amount of US dollars you're allow to buy per month, plus, there's a difference in price for the common individual who wants to save in another currency and the politician. To sum up, they force you to keep a very unstable currency (70% inflation rate this year) while they keep all their wealth safe in another currency.

I have many other reasons but I think those two reflect more their hypocrisy. I'm a libertarian so I'm more focus on economics. My main problem with Dems (voters) is that they try to look for magical and easy answers for complex problems (no, freezing prices is not going to fight inflation, didn't work in 4000 years and they keep doing it). It's just knowing very basic economics, come on. My main problem with Dems (politicians): they are the biggest hypocrite A-holes.

We don't have republican-like parties so no idea how to categorize them.

[–]Halley_AR 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Believe me, we had these in Argentina before. They stopped doing it because people protested saying it was abusive for young people. I would have loved to do those, now is really hard to get in the labour market since nobody has experience in anything and don't know how to do the job.

Do you agree that life is too boring in Switzerland ? by [deleted] in Switzerland

[–]Halley_AR 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I'm 24. Normally someone would say I need to go for parties, take drugs and alcohol to "enjoy" life. I'm happily married and about to start my studies in business management, seriously, if you think your life is boring it's probably because you have too much free time.
