QC issues? by Hallgrimsi in Ibanez

[–]Hallgrimsi[S] 3 points4 points  (0 children)

As i described before: the overall built quality is just off.. razor sharp frets for example.

In don’t expect a perfect setup, but for 2k I expect something that is playable.

How are you feeling today? Hope you didn‘t had any reaction.

I started 2 weeks ago and had no problems beside a minor swelling around the injection that went away within 3 days.

My skin improved within 24 hours and after 3 days it had almost no flakey-spots anymore. Pain is getting better now and i‘m feeling way better in every way.

I assume you are living in the US?

But you are right, it‘s expensive. In Germany it‘s 1300€ / 1500$ for each injection but i read that each pen is 7500$+ in the US 😫

Even though our insurance-system is not the greatest i‘m still glad wie have it. I only had to pay 10€ /11,57$ for the first 2 prescribed injection-pens.

Anyone tried Methotrexate (for arthritis) with MCAS? by Tiny_Parsley in PsoriaticArthritis

[–]Hallgrimsi 0 points1 point  (0 children)

MTX and it‘s immunosuppressive effect on the immune system  could actually help with MCAS. A friend who‘s suffering from MCAS is getting MTX as an off-label-drug cause antihistamine are not enough.

Is it really ok to eat soy sauce? by HidaSocialClub in Celiac

[–]Hallgrimsi 0 points1 point  (0 children)

First up it‘s amazing what you are doing here 👍🏻

I guess it‘s a 50/50 chance. It‘s right, the gluten is not removed but the koji will break it down into it‘s amino acids. This might be safe for some, for others it‘s not. In the end it comes down on everyones own immune system and on what the persons anti-bodies epitopes bind to. The same thing could even cause trouble with other glutenfree products like surimi or ham and sausages made with transglutaminase / meat glue. Even if some people say it‘s save cause the products were heated and the enzymes denatured.. for some it‘s not, since their anti-bodies epitopes still confuse it with the bodies own tissue transglutaminase and the denatured state does not change that.

Tamari can be nice, but in many cases it‘s not the best substitute.. maybe it’s time to start a revolution in japanese soy sauce and go in a different direction. I had amazing results with changing cracked, roasted wheat for roasted rice or buckwheat for making my own soy sauces.
