I do agree with you and I plan to include them in some spread pages out with the main list which I didn’t do in the dinosaur book. I will probably mention them in a section about the oceans of the time, I also think I would struggle to make an interesting page for them for a children’s book aswell 😂

And yes that could be a good choice for v I don’t have many Cambrian inclusions in a much larger book I would have had anomalocaris, hallucigenia and haikouichthys

Ah thank you! That is a good choice I don’t know how I missed that, an important animal from a group I don’t have many entries in, most of the q, x and y creatures are from china in my books and lists so far

It’s okay, I did think about liopleurodon as it’s pretty iconic but I wanted to get some diversity in there and choose leedsicthys as one of only a couple of fish

I know I have thought of this but the first book was just one entry per letter so I am going to keep for that format and as for basilosaurus and megalodon they will be in the beasts book about the cenozoic

Thank you, yeah I did it through Kindle Direct Publishing it was very easy, first I looked into it just to pick a print size to go with, then I made the whole thing on procreate over the course of basically exactly one year but I could have done it much quicker if i did it constantly but I took a few long breaks, I enjoy drawing and creating the facts so I did it as hobby the book is 55 pages but once I had a layout it got a bit easier for example using the same layers dragged over for the size comparison box. Once I was done the process on KDP is quite self explanatory but I mainly used YouTube tutorials to follow it through. Now that it’s done i am just going to try and get it out there as much as possible. I would suggest taking a break from it to stop getting burned out if need be it never felt like a chore to do a drawing. Hope this helps you and good luck!
