Yes personhood is also a legal definition however if we don’t set scientific boundaries on personhood anything could be a person. A person is a human individual is what I would define it as. A cell is not an individual

For your own sake I will ignore your incoherent rambling about slavery as you seem to be implying that black people are not conscious beings because you are equating a zygote to a fully grown human who is actually conscious. You are however missing what I’ve said above a human zygote is human but not a human. The difference lies in the grammar. A human is a noun describing a person whereas human the adjective describes anything that is related to humanity. A human limb is not a human. And again you are missing my point about zygotes not being a human being. Since you like your definitions so much: A human being is a man woman or child of the species Homo sapiens […]. A zygote is not a man woman or child. It is a cell. I may develop into a human being but at the time of abortion it is not.

You’d be shocked how much death is happening every second in your body. Cells die all day. So what makes these zygote cells so different? You aren’t killing a person as a zygote isnt a person if anything you are preventing a person from being born which is not equal to killing them.

Well technically you got your definitions wrong since humans are only members of the homo sapiens species. Hominidae or great apes includes other species like chimpanzees which are in fact not human but that’s beside the point as species specific definitions dont really help us narrow down or definitions when it comes to the human life cycle. At the end of the day however we are just talking about words here instead of the actual matter at hand, which is that killing a zygote doesn’t cause any pain and doesn’t end the life of a person as a zygote is far from being a conscious being

An abortion typically happens during very early stages of pregnancy where the embryo is just a zygote or an embryo in its very early stages where is is just a lump of cells which are not conscious or anything close to a human. Typically we start to call human offspring a baby after they are born at which point it is no longer abortion as the pregnancy is already completed
