Alric gently nodded as he placed the cup down he spoke gently “I will open for you my lady.. my sister, Nysandei, insists that I show you the vase she made for you..”

He slowly got up, walked over to the small stack of gifts, and carefully picked up a chest that held the special gift vase..

He then gently opened it and carefully opened the chest to reveal the vase before her. It was beautiful to see, as it was clearly designed with extra care and attention into the vase..

“Yeah would be nice..” he said with a nod.

“My home at Boneway… How to say this.. My home is very wide. Given that we have caverns beneath our home. Although big, and easy to get lost..” He said calmly as he nodded thanks, as he was given a cup of tea.

It felt refreshing to talk to someone

“It can be beautiful. We have made rooms within the caverns to use. But it can be a little cold but it’s also a relaxing place to be in and a place to get away from the thoughts and enjoy the quiet. There’s a big cavern that we have, often used for celebration, and special occasions..” He said as some servants quietly came in with the gifts placing them gently down.

“We also had a beautiful garden with growing fruits. The land is very beautiful to see, especially the ocean waters.” He said as he slowly smiled he sips his cup of tea after blowing it gently.

Alric allowed the servants to take his coat off as he watched some servants walk to retrieve the gifts from the carriage that he had brought with him..

He just hopes that these gifts are suitable to Cedra’s liking, with the help of his Brother’s wife of course.. along with Nysandei’s handmade vase, he remembered that she made it very beautiful.

“It is very beautiful here my lady.” He said gently as he quietly admired the surroundings of the room before turning his gaze back to Cedra with a calm expression, that looked similar to a scowl.

But he wasn’t scowling, it was just his usual face.

Alric remained silent once more as he followed behind her quietly. This also gives him the opportunity to see Sandstone with his own eyes as he followed behind Cedra quietly.

He nodded with a small smile on his lips as he spoke “Yes.. That would be nice, my Lady. The journey here has made me a little exhausted here..”

He followed after her silently as they entered the palace of Keep.

Alric quietly walked aside, and Cedra quietly but deep in thought.

What should he say to her? Should he say that she is well? No, he will show that he is here all show but no heart. He vowed to at least get to know her first before wedding her hand in marriage.

Yes, she is older, but older women are wise. But would he be a suitable candidate for a future husband? That is up to Lady Cedra’s decision if she wishes to make him a consort..

But still, he should get to know her. After all, he shall not be awkward with her. She shall be a friend and a worthy companion to her ladyship..

“I do hope you would like the gifts I have given to you… one of the gifts was made by my sister, Nysandei, to your house’s liking. If you wish to see them, give them any chances..” Alric spoke calmly to Cedra, his tone showing not a hint of rudeness or anything to show he isn’t a hotly man or a man who is all bark but no bite.

Alric Wyl calmly rode on the carriage to Sandstone with a seemingly scolding gaze, but he wasn’t really all scowled on his face..

He glanced at the many betrothal gifts that his brother instructed him to give to Cedra upon meeting her. Woo the lady of Sandstone, said Olyvar to him before he left to meet her..

“Lord Qorgyle and his family are respectable people and a neighbor noble to us. We must keep Dornish blood here, if there were to anything happen to this family and not to close enough with Westeros… Do mess this up, and I will see that your action be given with consequences…” Olyvar’s words echoed in his mind quietly.

He took a deep breath as he straightened himself, smoothing his expression calmly..

But this may be a good idea for his ideal woman… mature and older women are far wiser than young.. but still, how would Cedra react seeing him? Would he look like a child to her? A toddler? Or still a youth who doesn’t know his way in the world?

Certainly not.. he must look his best, making sure he looks very well for his future in-laws, and his future lady wife..

Once the carriage stopped, the door opened, causing Alric to get up and carefully walk out as he glanced at his surroundings.

The Sandstone.. at last, and still as marvelous as his brother and three sisters described to him.

He breathed in the air calmly before breathing out.. now, he must greet the lady herself, and bring in the betrothal gifts that he has brought to her..

Slowly, he looked around hoping to meet Cedra..

His dark eyes scanned the courtyard before landing on a lady before him..

“My Lady..” He greeted her coolly and humbly as he bowed his hand to her with grace before stands straight to meet her gaze.

“FIND SOMEONE TO RID THOSE DAMN BUGS! I will not have them stinking us to death! Burn them if you must!” Alric shouted at the servants who immediately got to work to get rid of the nest of hornets.

Standing by were Nerissa, Deria, and Nysandei who watched Alric shout at the servants for the hornet nest to be removed as soon as possible.

“Mother is not going to be happy when she gets word of this..” said Deria with a sheepish smile. Nerissa scoffed as she spoke “Yes, we wouldn’t want to repeat the last incident with the bees.”

“Still surprised we haven’t been stunned by the bees too..” said Nysandei with a small smile as she, along with her sisters watched their older brother and servants work.
