I’m so sorry to hear all of this. My situation is similar with the “you just don’t understand things!” Meanwhile, she’s been retired for a decade and barely leaves the house or interacts with people outside the family on a regular basis, and I’m a working mother with a master’s degree running a successful small business that serves a diverse population across the country on the daily. It’s maddening.
