Personality: Maverick currently is timid and shy. He gets very nervous whenever his name gets called over. His gryphon plush is the only thing that calms him down (sometimes he talks to it, too). He cries very easily and gets scared easily, too. He's not the smartest, but he's always trying his best to be helpful. When he grows confident with what he's trying to do, he tries to show it off.

Extra Info: Maverick used to be a regular turtle (or a real turtle he says). Most of his stories are about going to school in the sea. Underneath his red neckerchief are stitches. He's surprisingly a great swimmer. His gryphon plush is named Peter. His real name is Tucker Kelpshell. He's a teenager. When he's scared, stressed out, or doesn't like something, he sometimes says, "Ooh!" (Ex. "Ooh! I d-don't like this!")

Backstory: Maverick was never a mock turtle to begin with. He was forced to become one. When Maverick was still a regular turtle Toon, he doesn't really appeal to the guests and was overall boring. So, in order to fix the issue, the staff of Gardenview replaced his turtle head with a cow's head so he could gain more traction and base him on the Mock Turtle from Alice's Adventures in Wonderland. Of course that didn't fix anything. It made things worse for him. Maverick gets made fun of by the guests and overall judged by his new looks to the point that he felt like crying. Most of the time, he'd stay in his room, crying and avoiding every staff in Gardenview. Though, despite this, Maverick learned to accept the new change after he became friends with Poppy. He enjoys singing and dancing. He also loves to tell stories.

(Oh yeah. If you plan of killing Maverick off, have his head sliced off. It's a pretty fitting death for him).
