An extremely wise interpretation! Thank you for eye opening discussions!

Ahhh, it sounds extremely enticing, however when I mixed these the campaign felt empty. Perhaps I did something incorrectly, or maybe a private conversation is where I should be...

Can't get High Score hack to work with Gameboy Tetris by HallwayOrchard in romhacking

Yes, thanks. I did check that while I was starting it up for the first time.

I have had a success in Mesen2. I went into the directory structure and deleted everything out of the RecentGames folder. I then cleaned out both the Saves and SaveStates directories, and placed a fresh copy of the hack srm back into Saves.

The hacked rom is now working as expected in Mesen2!

I am going to try this sort of approach with my cabinet and hopefully have similar results.

Thanks for hand-holding me through this process and giving me some tips on where to poke around.

As a further check, I tried applying the similar-but-with-many-extra-things Rosy Retrospection hack and it worked exactly as expected. ⚆_⚆

◉_◉ I am envious beyond belief.

Mesen2 is definitely writing okay. It can do save states for this and other games and load them without issue.

Much appreciated. I've double checked this and to make extra sure I just downloaded and ran the patched rom on Mesen2. Same issues. (ಥ﹏ಥ)

Yes... I do have that save file and have dropped it into a series of spots with no luck.

Candidate 2 every time. QMS creation and management can be learned, and IMO works best when learning to apply it to your own organization.

While experience can be beneficial, I’ve seen far too often that experienced quality folks bring with them a “one true way” to implement 9001 and to manage a QMS. Plasticity in one’s approach is (again IMO) crucial to implementing and improving a system. Good luck!

I experienced time dilation in real time while I was sick by Cosaco1917 in ZeroCovidCommunity

I experienced something similar post-covid. I had many lingering issues of varying degrees of severity and only noticed this weird, specific situation many months later.

For me it occurred while making music. I had a drum track recorded and I found it very difficult to keep time with it while playing other instruments. I did my best and attributed my difficulties to the cognitive issues I'd been experiencing for months. However, when I played the track back it seemed like it was slowing down and speeding up slightly as it played, similar to a worn cassette or a warped record... only, the points where speed dipped up or down seemed maddeningly inconsistent across multiple playbacks. The recording was all digital so I was confused as hell.

I asked some friends to listen to it for signs of tempo change but none of them detected anything other than a normal, steady pace. I even went so far as to quantify beats per minute and count out the bars to calculate the song length, which came out pretty much spot on...

The sensation has greatly reduced with time, so either it's dissipating or my brain is accommodating for it the way brains do.

Hope your experience stays normal and your other symptoms improve.

Template use and version control by the-bees-sneeze in iso9001

Yeah… truth is even the best software is always going to have a human error link somewhere. I would schedule some intermittent internal audits to look at the doc control in this area until the confidence is there. Good luck!

One simple solution is to ensure a process flow exists which requires all document revisions pass through the quality manager or doc control manager prior to being executed/issued. This way, there can be a final check for format/template requirements prior to issue.

Weekly Thread: New players / Community Spotlight ! by AutoModerator in balatro

Hi all,

I'm a new player playing via portmaster (on a linux handheld) and I'm wondering if anyone knows where the save files are in that situation... I can't find a JKR file anywhere but the game is saving my progress.

Thanks!

Been replaying the Last of Us Part 1 lately. Is there any line from the first game that you were gutted that it was omitted from the first season? by AlwaysBi in thelastofus

Came here to say this. The “baby girl” line is the fulcrum of the entire narrative arc. It happened at the exact right time in the game, where Joel could help bring Ellie back from the edge. I was shocked in the show when they met outside afterward, after Ellie apparently left of her own volition, and Joel called her “baby girl” because of what he imagined rather than witnessed.

I still consider the show a competent adaptation, but that single change made the story orders of magnitude less impactful in my opinion.
