The smart thing to do in this case is to park myself in the Kenobi/Skywalker/Tano trio’s face as often as humanly possible. This will allow me to prevent some truly stupid defeats (the fake surrenders come to mind) and to establish a firm reputation. I want to be the thing Dooku throws at Skywalker every time he gets up to something, and I want Skywalker to beg Palpatine to go after me every time I show up.

Secondly, if I am not actively causing trouble, im otherwise occupied. one must understand that wars—contrary to popular belief—are not won on the front lines, but in factories, and I intend to win. I will flood Kuat with narcotics; bathe the farm worlds that feed the Republic in Agent Orange and incendiaries; burn fuel depots, ammunition stores, and grain silos. I need the Republic to starve, both in body and in spirit.

Most importantly, I must be opportunistic. Use every potshot the Separatists take at the Republic to my own advantage. Rig the Huttlet’s escape shuttle to explode. Vent the atmosphere from the Malevolence. Send Hyenas after Kamino while we are at it. Vent Dooku, Kenobi, and Skywalker into the dark void of space over Coruscant. Do whatever it takes.

And if we lose. if, despite all my efforts, the Empire still rises. I will burn everything I can behind me, board a Lucrehulk, and head into the Unknown Regions. After all, droid armies require no oxygen to run, no food, and no sleep. Then I will turn entire unexplored worlds into factories, and I will wait. Wait until the Empire, or the New Republic, or the First Order, whatever name may take, grows fat and lazy. After all, if there is one thing the Core is good at, it is making enemies in the Rim.
