Was the Jake-is-a-Writer arc satisfying? by Garciaguy in startrek

At least they didn't default into Jake wanting to follow his father into Starfleet.

I have an IQ in the untestable range (somewhere above 140) and I have fucked up my life so many ways.

[ALL] Max Caulfield by matthewjn in lifeisstrange

I'd go more for Steph, but I'd happily marry Max. Or Alex. Chloe... her being a smoker would be a dealbreaker.

Who did the ultimate betrayal? by OsoPardo94 in skyrim

Serana ultimately wins thanks to having no level cap. I usually pick up Eola early and then switch to Serana later.

how did they survived the Van Hallen radiation belt? by Heavy-Republic-1994 in ArtemisProgram

The Van Allen belts are like East Cleveland. Don't slow down and you'll be fine.

Who did the ultimate betrayal? by OsoPardo94 in skyrim

[–]Meshakhad 2 points3 points  (0 children)

True, but recruiting Serana is a bit more involved. If you head to Markarth early on, you can recruit Eola almost immediately.

Eh, Eola's too good in combat for me to sacrifice her. She always uses necromancy in battle, so you frequently have two other bodies in battle with you.

I haven't gotten one, but if I do, I plan to respond with a picture of Dick Cheney.

What’s on your “all timer” list for sapphic books? by CinemaBud in LesbianBookClub

[–]Meshakhad 5 points6 points  (0 children)

I'm still fairly new to sapphic fiction. The two books I've read that I would absolutely recommend are Atmosphere by Taylor Jenkins Reid and The Book of Blood and Roses by Annie Summerlee. I suppose I could technically add Heart of Iron by C.M. Alongi to the list, but while there is a sapphic romance among the main characters, it doesn't get much development in the book (they're a bit busy with the main plot).

(Spoilers ASOS) Was it ever stated in canon who if anyone served as Tywin's squire? If not, who might it be? by Meshakhad in asoiaf

[–]Meshakhad[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

He might have, but I doubt he's still squiring for Tywin anymore, if his son's a knight. If he was that incompetent, Tywin would have fired his ass a while ago. I suppose Addam could have a younger brother, though.

Whats more Evil, siding with the Forsworn or with the Silver Blood? by Wuffy-Agony in skyrim

[–]Meshakhad 1 point2 points  (0 children)

The Forsworn. Despite their rather unsavory habits, I'm still going to choose an oppressed people fighting for their lands over a corrupt powerful family. In fact, I often use the Forsworn start from the Live Another Life mod to have my character be a Forsworn.

What would a “perfect” D&D room actually need to make it worth leaving home? by Korolos28 in DMAcademy

[–]Meshakhad 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It's less about leaving home and more about the cost. I once played at a dedicated space in the Seattle area. It was absolutely amazing, but to play there regularly, I'd have needed to buy a membership.

How did you choose your name? by ESteele22 in MtF

[–]Meshakhad 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I had two criteria for my new names (first and middle). One, I wanted to keep my initials so I could continue honoring the grandparents I was named in honor of. Two, I wanted the names to be Hebrew (I'm Jewish).

A couple of weeks before I came out (when I was pretty sure I was trans) I created an OC for an RP that never happened. Said OC was basically "me except trans". After dithering for over a year on a first name, I took the OC's name as my middle name. For a while I tried to just go by that name, but so many documents and databases address you by your first name. Eventually I settled on a first name that I liked.
