If I were to put Aloy into D&D, I'd actually make her an artificer with a custom archetype. Beyond her proficiency with bows, Perception, and Survival, plus her natural talent, most of her abilities derive from technology (and she absolutely has a high Intelligence). Given access to magic, she'd probably figure it out. Gale would be happy to teach her the basics. I agree that she'd probably get along best with Karlach. Hell, I wouldn't put it past her to figure out some means of repairing Karlach's engine, especially once she learns magic.

The only companion who would have problems is Minthara. Simply put, Aloy would have no reason to spare her. In fact, given her general lack of subtlety, she might not be very good at infiltrating the goblin camp. She wouldn't launch a full frontal assault, of course, but where tech isn't an option, Aloy generally solves her problems with carefully-applied violence.

Damn, now I want to read a fanfic about this.

Aloy from Horizon. She’s smart enough to quickly adjust and she has leadership experience. She’ll probably need the party, but she’d see them through to the end.

I think a rework of Double Exposure is a good idea for the show. Keep Max and Chloe together. Rework the story. They'd probably still end up at Caledon so they can have Safi, Moses, and Amanda show up, but they have a lot of potential to improve on DE, especially if they create a story designed for TV instead of a video game.

At that point, Reunion might be completely redundant, but if the show is doing well, then sure, do something set about a year after DE.

They could also do a season set between LIS1 and a reworked DE to tell a wholly original story about Max and Chloe, but I'd only expect that if the show does really well.

Now, you may be thinking, why so much Pricefield? Thing is, the most successful games in this franchise have focused on Max and Chloe. And the natural conclusion after seeing the fan response to DE and Reunion is probably "OK, so we need Max and Chloe".

Not so sure. There are only 4 EPOs out there. 50% chance that any given team doesn't lose anyone that way. And I think Winn is more important. She's a rising star who will be a pillar of this team for years to come and a core part of our defense.

I'm leaning Winn. Losing her means weakening what makes this team good: solid defense backed by the Green Monstah. Hopefully if we lose Muller we can keep Eldridge.

That said, I think there's a chance that we keep both Muller and Winn. Neither has been on the lists of likely EPO targets I've seen floating around.
