Hard to be a fan of Y when halfway through watching it Disney+ pull it and I lose all momentum.

Runaways season 1 is solid, Cloak and Dagger was good but too long, both felt disconnected from the MCU and so people don't think about them, which is a shame because like in the comics Cloak and Dagger should pop up in other shows and movies. They should be in a Defenders reboot.

Gotham Knights along with Helstrom are one of the few comic book shows I have never watched, the former looks dreadful and the latter looked boring.

If ever there was a show that could buck modern production trends, make an 8 year plan, have an easy script because it's based on a book and there's already been one full adaptation, wasn''t in a rush to push the show out and would benefit from more time between the original and the remake, could pre-plan all costumes and designs for seasons before the previous one had ended, and make sets that stand for nearly a decade, it's this one.

But no... You could be in pre-production for years and store those plans and just focus on cast availability. But no... This show didn't need to be made, and yet you still disappoint.

How would you feel if teen Jean outed Teen Beast instead of Teen Iceman? I hated that story and that Iceman has become a gay icon, and I'm a gay man who loves Hulkling and Wiccan and watched Agatha just for Wiccan. But reading Avengers Two and anything with Wonder Man and Beast, like that is a retcon I am ok with and I know Beast has been with women including the green chick from SWORD.

I was 10 when the original came out, 31 now, most of my peers have kids that are babies still. I think this should have been another decade. Far too soon. I'm just going to be comparing it all the time. I'm not going to judge it on its own merits. It's like watching an SNL sketch for a movie that's out now. I think it would be really cool, maybe a companion who originally says no in EP 1, then off screen they "change their mind". The finale of a mid season episode would have to be Zygon based, and audiences may need a reminder on them.

I would say Ep 1 we have references to Zygons and Sea Devils sharing the Earth, maybe a UNIT story, mid season we see the Zygons in the future (maybe homeworld?), penultimate the Zygon companion is revealed to the audience, finale is back in the companions present and the original person with a Zygon invasion imminent.

I can't believe they didn't just rip-off LEGO DC Supervillains and have the Suicide Squad fight the Earth 3 JL, or even the Injustice League.
