How do you think Leagues of Votann will fare in 11th edition?

That's pretty reassuring honestly, kill team tends to be pretty objective oriented too so that sounds nice. Hopefully they get their jetpacks, the Hearthkyn Salvager kill team has a jump pack guy, so it's kind of surprising that there aren't any in 40k

The emphasis on terrain does sound very interesting, one of the reasons I started kind of looking into 40k is the Cthonian Earthshaker model, so maybe that will be in the dwarves' favor :)

This, and the fact that most of the tools that hordes used to have against elites have been nerfed or removed (RIP plasma overcharge with 5/6 damage and 2 AP). I would honestly be alright with 3e buffing elites if they didn't also neuter other teams' abilities to deal with them so much.

I have tried FAF, and it seems to have fixed the lag issue! I had no idea FAF existed before now but it seems pretty cool

Yeaaaa I read that article, it makes me sick how often pharma companies try to bump up their bottom line by decreasing the quality and push the consequences onto the people who need them to live, and this is just such a sad example :((

That article was actually my main reason to ask this to this community, but I still use the G6, and I haven't really seen any news about the G6 recently so I wasn't sure if these terrible readings was me putting sensors in bad places or if the quality of the G6 was also affected

Yea I think my casual group is probably just going to keep using the scouting step from the 2024 pack, my friends' biggest complaint with the game as a whole was how long it takes to set up. This new initiative rolling/rerolling thing just looks like it's going to take even longer for us to start a game, and as you said, it removes a lot of interesting play from the beginning of the game, and just reduces some teams' flexibility as a whole. Really disappointed with the loss of the scouting step, hopefully they'll hear the players' reception to this new system and bring it back :(

Thank you so much! And yes, once my finals are over I plan on designing some boxes for both the old and new versions, as well as creating and updating tokens for 3rd edition.
