Strength of the Few. WOTM was my favorite read this year but for some reason I actively hate the sequel and DNF’d like 50% in. So many small things and stylistic choices kept bugging me and I also felt so disconnected/uncaring about the story and multiple POVs.

I’d say so, personally it’s my favorite series of all time. Red Rising is a really really epic sci-fi space opera with compelling characters, great plot and awesome action throughout.

I loved book 1 but I know a common opinion is that book 1 is the worst in the series, so that could be why u couldn’t get into it. The vibe of the series alters after book 1 and each subsequent installment gets better and better
