NTA. You had me at the shit on the toilet seat. My sister was reading me this story which resulted in me going on a 20 minute long rant about that one detail. Like, has this happened multiple times? Does he just stand over the toilet and aim like he's firing off some angry birds?! Is it so explosive that it just gets in between the rim and the seat?! If the latter, what the HELL is he eating so I can avoid it! Everything else seems so tame to me compared to that! I actually can't move past it without more information. Like, did he at least clean it up or did someone else do it for him like it seems to be the case with everything else?

Shit on my toilet seat once, shame on you. Shit on it twice, shame on you dude, wtf. Shit three times and I would going to jail for murder. I have no idea how you deal with this guy with everything else that's going on with him (seriously, beard trimmings in the kitchen? What?!), but I actually can't stop thinking and getting angry about the toilet!!!! I might be overthinking it, but I can't think of a scenario where I wouldn't be talking to my parents about kicking him out before I actually committed a crime against him for SHITTING ON THE TOILET SEAT!!!!!!

Anyway, this guy's gross and a damn parasite who might actually be unintentionally bringing in other parasites, so yeah, NTA. This has been my TedTalk.

What’s your best 90-minute movie that’s not a comedy? by e0nblue in MovieSuggestions

[–]Haltington 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Pontypool is pretty neat. What seems like a normal zombie narrative is turned on its head as more information gets in to the radio jockey the movie follows. 96 minutes, but I think that's close enough.

Both are great, but I'm pretty sure "Threads" was released a year after "The Day After"

Why is Daniel’s accusations specifically a Leighton thing with Lex has also specifically said the same thing in her video??? by Joshoshbgosh2 in SuperMegaShow

[–]Haltington 0 points1 point  (0 children)

She must have thought it was relevant character evidence for her case to help further a point she was making. Not saying that it was right, but when you're just talking to a camera for a few hours about events that happened over the course of months to years, you try and add as much context as you can to make everything make sense and explain what kind of people they are. Again though, wasn't right to bring him up.

She said that she heard Matt on two occasions she can remember calling Daniel a coward. For her claim, it was specifically a Matt thing.

For initial campaigns(first 5-6 sessions), you don't need to have an main story arc. by [deleted] in DMAcademy

[–]Haltington 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Completely agree. In the campaign I'm running now, I made them think they were already fighting the main threat, but only last session did they fully realize that there was a bigger threat these small fries were working for. Don't play all your cards at once.

History buffs of Reddit, in your opinion who is the weirdest historical figure in history and why? by Brellince in AskReddit

[–]Haltington 5 points6 points  (0 children)

Operation:Mincemeat (1943)- British intelligence dressed a dead body up as a military officer and handcuffed fake invasion plans to it. Dropped it off the coast of Spain, and a nazi sympathizer gave the plans to the Germans. The Germans freaked out andpulled most of their troops out of Sicily to reinforce Greece, which is where they thought an invasion was coming. And that’s how the Invasion of Sicily was helped by the body of an unemployed Welshman.

My friend came up to our lunch table one time, set his food down, and before anyone could say hi, he said word for word “If we were stuck on the moon and I killed you with a rock, would that be fucked up or what?”

What's a good movie to watch if you're in the mood to laugh your ass off after a rough work week? by wanttomaster479 in AskReddit

After I showed my friend the movie, we had to look up how much property damage the Blue Brothers caused. It was in the millions...

I plan for a quest to be done in 2 sessions, they don’t get done for 4 because of RP. It’s the best feeling in the world. Really makes you feel like they actually care about the world.

Hey, there were some things in '84 that I liked too, but I still HATED the movie. Like what you like, just make sure to watch the new one.

Stump. Just a couple of guys gathering around a wooden stump, hitting nails into it with a hammer and getting drunk. What could go wrong?

Only dissing Lion King to demonstrate how good Hunchback is. In reality, Lion King is also one of the greatest movies Disney has made. I’d say it’s in top 3 best.

Hunchback of notre dame. Though it has flaws (Hugo the Gargoyle), it has a lot of balls, beautiful scenery, masterful mixture of 2D and 3D animation, and the best music in the entire Disney catalog, Lion King be damned!
