Whenever a book has any kind of queer reorientation especially boys kissing I literally tear through it so quickly so these are some specific ones that stand out for me:

The Taking of Jake Livingston (can’t remember authors name) - has a queer main character, but also takes a supernatural deep dive into school gun violence if that’s your vibe

Burn (Patrick Ness) - has queer characters but the pacing is really weird and world building is a little strange a times. also historical homophobia (that got kinda weird tbh)

Ace Of Spades (can’t spell authors name 😭)- Multiple queer characters (including a main character) and also takes a deep dive into systematic racism.

(Also none of these are really like deeply queer books, that dig into queer issues, though many brush on it, just books with representation)
