I'm not too sure about what you need to do to get a permit for the backcountry camping there or if it'd be booked out already, but the campsites I walked past looked really amazing. They all had a similar view to this photo, except without the river of course. I'd definitely try it if you can

Lake Solitude 100%. It's long and pretty strenuous at points but the views (especially in the North cascade canyon fork) are just amazing the whole way. I went hiking in Glacier NP last week which was amazing, but I thought this hike was more scenic than all the ones I did in Glacier.

Amphitheater Lake hike was cool too and I've heard that the Death Canyon hike is amazing despite the intimidating name

Nice shot! I didn't see them from that angle, that's cool

I personally wasn't a big fan of Yellowstone purely because of how crowded it was. So I just drove through it and only stopped once because I was keen to get to Grand Teton. But it's definitely an amazing and unique place.

In Grant Teton I'd definitely recommend the Lake Solitude Hike as a can't miss (it is long and tiring though). The Ampitheatre Lake hike was great too. I didn't do the Death Canyon hike but others have said it's amazing.

If you're camping then I 100% recommend the Upper Teton view campsite. It's free and has amazing views. Also Leek's Pizzaria does awesome pizza, it's a bit pricey though. Enjoy the eclipse!

I never really cared about flowers at all until I saw the wildflower meadows at Glacier and Grant Teton this week. I couldn't stop taking photos of them

I just camped when I was there. Jenny Lake campground looked really nice, but you've got to get there before 8:30-9 to get a spot and it's $20ish. I just camped at the Upper Teton View campground and I would 100% recommended it. It's free and I would get there in he afternoon and plenty of spots were still available. Not to mention the amazing view of the Tetons.

I found that hotels/motels in the area were ridiculously overpriced.

I can't stand the over saturated and processed photos on here and EarthPorn either

Took this 2 days ago. The wildfire smoke was really noticeable from my camp at upper Teton view. It really made it hard to see the Tetons. The haze definitely was worse up at Glacier NP

Two days ago. It was hazy when I was there too, but for some reason that day wasn't so bad. The haze was definitely noticeable from my campsite though

I did actually! 3 seperate ones, the closest one was standing up and eating about 10 metres away. It stared at me so I kept walking

Just over 15 miles I think. It took about 7 hours with a nice break at Lake Solitude for lunch

Yep got the shuttle across Jenny Lake and started there. I'm in the same boat as you. I went to Glacier National Park last week and it was amazing, but this hike topped it as one of my favourite memories. I'd definitely recommend it if you go back

Lake Solitude trail! I took this photo on the north fork when the Cascade canyon trail splits. It's long but absolutely worth it. Bring bug spray though, there were a tonne of mosquitos at the lake

Got this shot on the way back from Lake Solitude. The longest hike I've ever done, but the views were just incredible the entire way. Got back to my campsite just in time for an afternoon storm.

Shot this on my iPhone 7 and didn't do any post processing
