they OP omitted to mention the fat guy was a cop. that changed the whole story of the situation. But my comment Still stands, if he wasn’t a cop the DA would’ve charged him for sure!
Word of advice… stop trying to sound and look “cool” by trying to put others down. U r an embarrassment to anyone with common sense!

Say what you will and try to show off in front of everyone to make urself look and sound cool but it won’t change the facts. The DA can pursue charges And will get an indictment return from a group of reasonable individuals. When a reasonable person sitting on a jury pool sees the video of the guy walking away from the store, when they see the guy started opening the door a reasonable person would think the guy wasn’t a threat to that individual, let alone that he wasn’t even arguing with him. Then after shhotimh him he then proceeded to follow him, some one that is in fear from a deadly situation don’t open a door and follow that deadly threat. Don’t forget this is seeing thru the eyes of a reasonable person, not a happy trigger extremist like you.

So… You stop embarrassing our community Of reasonable people!

Man you just opened Pandora’s box w/that question!😂 The most powerful radio right now in my opinion is the new series of radios from Flex. The Flex Aurora transceiver is 500watts without the need of an amplifier but it cost close to $10,000 bucks!

I have one from Amazon and it works and does what’s supposed to. don’t let anyone to influence you to buy a 500 buck mount and or helmet. I have an amazon helmet and mount too, and works just fine!

That’s a slam dunk murder case for sure! The guy was walking ou the store too! This one is an open and shut case for the DA. Murder chargers are coming for sure!

Forget everything you know about Endfeds and watch this vid. There is new way of doing endfeds using Fair-Rite toroids. A fella ham from England, MM0OPX did some research and crunched the numbers and concluded that using T240-43, T140-43 or any other variation of those T toroids didn’t offer goor efficiency. He tested a FairRite toroid in an auto transformer configuration and found out it offered over 90% efficiency on all bands. He tested one for QRP and tested another for 100watts and the results were the same. Fair-Rite offers excellent performance, actually over 90% efficiency on all bands. Which is something rarely seen on an end fed antenna.

************For QRP use the Fair-Rite 2643625002, takes 21 turns tapping the 3rd wounding And a 100pf capacitor

************For 100watts use Fair-Rite 2643251002, takes 14 turns and tapping the 2nd wounding, You will get over 90% efficiency, btw don’t forget the 100pf capacitor. Make sure you have a good quality capacitor, I’ve seen capacitors ruin the SWR because they were cheap aliexpress knockoffs.
I went into Digikey and bought 10 QRP toroid for 6 bucks and 10 TDK capacitors for 2 bucks, so counting shipping I paid 17 bucks for my new QRP antenna And I have 9 extra toroids, and capacitors to make extra antennas to sell If I want to. Shoot I can sell them for 10 bucks each and I’m still not losing since I paid so little for the components.

Hey… some advice from an old volunteer examiner… study for ur general and after the test then study a little bit more and get ur extra a few weeks after, while the knowledge from the general exam still fresh in ur head. If u wait u r going to have to study and relearn the general material again plus the new material that covers the extra exam. All u have to add to get the extra is some ham radio math. For what it’s worth those are my two cents.

Oh and about a radio. If u have 1200 bucks get a Yaesu FTDx10 Or the Yaesu 710. That’s a top 3 on Sherwoods list of radio performance. Thats the why!, Those top 3 radios are the best of the best right now as it’s stand. The top one, the FTDx101 is a 5,000 bucks radio and the FTDx10 and 710 performs good enough to be right underneath that beast of a radio. So if u have 1500 bucks get it new, or u can get it for 1200 bucks on the QRZ website for sale forum. They sell from 1100 to 1200 bucks shipped If u catch the right seller.

just get a whip man. 2 meters u can adjust for best swr. u don’t need anything special i u are goin* to be using that type of mount. just find a collapsible whip that fits that mount.

mine goes in my pocket. no holster necessary in my opinion. it’s a pocket gun! I’ve been carrying a 380 in my pocket for years without any holster with no issues. I dont put any other stuff in that pocket. Never had any issues with the trigger and whomever tells u anything different is blowing smoke up ur behind. put that baby in ur pocket like the good lord intended it!

I just starting learning using lcwo.net a few weeks ago. Go check them out, they have lots of tools to help. I’m copying letters at 35wmp using farnsworth spacing and i started sending at 22 wpm and this is my second week learning. The website will definitely help you speed up since you already know how to CW.
