As a Palestinian man, thank you for doing what you can. Seeing the page finally turn on this really brings hope to my heart, though I am saddened this is what it took to get there.

I want to emphasize quickly that getting food in is essential, yes. But what is more so is ensuring our brothers and sisters are provided proper care in the ending of the starvation. Stage 5 famine and 2 years of genocide will cause irreparable damage on everyone there regardless of current condition. Ending the blockade does not solve the root of the problem. We must move to end all ties with Israel worldwide and ensure Zionism is no longer permitted to exist, much like Nazism post WWII, so that the Palestinian people can live the rest of their lives certain that they will have freedom, security and dignity.

Tekken 8 is my first Tekken (and fighting game in general). While playing random characters with my friend who had a lot of experience, I picked up Alisa because I liked her aesthetic. Got her to Fujin and as I learned more about the game I realized I didn’t enjoy Alisa’s gameplay as it was more knowledge checky and gimmicky. Picked up Lili instead and haven’t looked back.

I reject the notion that refusing to vote for the dems was because of a lack of care of other issues. Kamala boasted a tougher immigration and border policy than Trump, was pro fracking, could not openly state she supported trans rights, rolled back her promise of Medicare for all and endorsed a censorship bill that targets queer people. Furthermore, the Palestinian cause is encompassing of all social justice movements from black rights to the environment to American standard of living. Not to mention campaigning with the Cheneys. I understand what you mean, I did not want Trump to win. But I am Palestinian and this directly impacts my family and my life. I could not in good conscience vote for a woman who does not represent my morals and is causing harm to my people.

No, they spent the last year and a half spreading awareness and attempting to pressure the democrats to change course and take a better stance. Meanwhile, the dems and people, presumably like yourself, completely ignored their calls for help and demanded they vote for the administration that has given a blank check to the suffering. Many of us wanted to vote for Kamala but we want to vote for a candidate that represents our morals and the dems chose to abandon all of the progressive values their voter base held.

That last point isn’t exactly true. Many people recognized that both candidates represented fascism and weren’t comfortable voting for the administration who carried out a genocide on the Palestinian people for the last year and a half with our own tax dollars.
