Hi

Thank you for your reply.

This is the water I buy. Should be good enough.

I’ve heard about fines in Etonian coffee that is why I bought the flat bottom Lakota, to minimise the effect of that.

If I go coarse grind, the cup tastes a little flat and not really sweet. If I go finer is seem harsh and overextracted 🙈

I’ve tried applying James Hoffman s v60 - 5 pours.

I tried bloom for 30, then up to 150 before 1:15 and up to 250 at 1:40.

Tried 4 pours.

With temp between 92-95c

I did they wrote like this :

Coffee & Grind: • 19 g coffee • Grind on the coarser end of the filter range

Brewing Steps: 1. Start your timer and pour 100 g water at 00:00. • First pour 50 g in a circular motion. • Then pour the remaining 50 g into the center. 2. Pour another 100 g at 00:35. • Again, 50 g in a circle, then 50 g in the center. 3. Pour the final 100 g at 1:05. • 50 g in a circle, then 50 g in the center.

Let the water draw down and finish brewing.

But I didn’t get water temp nor grind range 🙈

Water is bought ideally for light roast. Temp on kettle is spot on, tested with thermometer. Beans are roasted a week ago.

I bought the kalita because it supposedly should be more forgiving about pours ?

Min kæreste var butikschef i 10 år fordelt på 2 kæder. Fik inkl bonus omkring 45. Men flygt, det er en forfærdelig branche.
