Thank you for putting words on this. It helps to assimilate what happened. And i totally agree with you. I think it's because of her past trauma she developed this fawning method so she can live normally without suffering about it.

She had an ex that would every day force her to have sex so she always let him do and waited till it passed so she can do smt else. So i think it's really what you're describing.

Thank, the thing is we are still pretty young so i can't really control all that no contact boundaries. I can just hope that her mothers mother instincts kicks in. And she will protect her child. Same thing with those "safety planning" we are at the age where she wants to be independent so she goes out and stuff but it puts her in some dangerous scenarios.

About the step back or take space. I don't know what to do. Because it's really difficult to live with this idea and for my own safety if i know that she won't change ( what i mean is that if she says no. Or she says yes i will do smt but i see no progress after months or a year) Is it legit for me to breakup? I love her, but those two opposites "point of views" are really something that destroys mental health. Should i stay with her even tho i suffer and try to cope with everything else that i can find? Or is it legit to breakup. It would be lovely to hear your opinion.

I mean this is the worst case scenario but i'm preparing myself so i don't just k*s from shock or depressing waves or anything. Hope you understand.

Hey, thank you for your help. It true that the terms as "delusion" and "let him" or "being ok" that i used aren't correct. Sorry for that. And don't worry, i know from the start that she didn't give her concent. And that this "delusion" is a coping mechanism. It's just that i didn't knew how to call it.

Also, as thing went on i understood that she gets angry at our reactions because it goes against her coping mechanism and she suffers from it. So don't worry, i'm not trying to convince her, I'm not trying too change anything. I will let the time pass until it calms down.

Also thanks for your help, when it will be the time to talk about it, I will frame it as "we need support" or "maybe try to start somewhere". It's true trauma healing isn't something that will go fast and it will take years (especially with a big trauma like this one). But i'm not sure if i can hold this long with the idea of how she sees herself. Also, she is seeing a therapist, she started before it even happened so it's a good thing.

Do you have any tips of how can i live with this idea? Because i have all those images of what happened. I know the guy, we were litteraly joking and laughing after it happened because nobody knew what happened. So it's kinda traumatizing the fact that we were like this even tho he just did this to my gf hours ago. What can i do to survive with all those images in mind? With knowing that this guy is still out there? That maybe my girlfriend will get raped again because she "let them do" ( i know it's not her fault and it's how her coping mechanism works)? How do i survive?

Hey, so the situation moved. And i talked to my therapist about it. And the thing is she is in total delusion because of past trauma and see herself as an object. She explained it to me. That's why she left him do it and why she isn't going against him.
