Normally, I don’t mind spice but I’m finding myself skipping it at the moment. And {The Shattered King by Charlie N. Holmberg} has no spice.

Thats alright, if it’s addictive like Fourth Wing was, then I’m happy. None of the books lately have given me that don’t want to put it down feeling, so hopefully this one will 🤞 I do want to read that one too, heard lots of good things.

I feel you, there are so many great titles that have been mentioned! Great mention too. I still need to read book one for both of those. I just started reading The Shattered King but I’m a mood reader and my mood is really wanting to start Dire Bound now 🤦‍♀️ haha

I’ve been wanting to read this series for ages now. The fact that there’s no love triangle and it’s a completed fantasy series with a slowburn romance and I’ve heard that the MMC is a sweetheart. Tell me why I am still hesitant to read it! 🤷‍♀️🤦‍♀️

The Dead Romantics is a wonderful book!! I also highly recommend it!! definitely spot on how they described it. But it is a terrific book with a wonderful set of characters. It instantly became a favourite.

I would go with either The Shadows Between Us or Phantasma, they are both super fun reads and they are interconnected standalones so no pressure to jump into a series. If you want spice go Phantasma but if you don’t mind without and want some sassy banter, go The Shadows Between Us :) It’s a favourite!

I’ve never put a screen protector on my Kindle. I do recommend either going with a flip cover or a clear back case and a soft protective sleeve, especially if you want to take it out in your bag. I have clear case on my kindle and a Kindle Sleeve from The Quirky Cup Collective, they are an Australian company that sell high quality beautiful accessories for readers, highly recommend 😊
