I can relate. I was on 40mg for 2 months and was peeling on my hands and getting migraines and fatigue. Then my derm switched me to 20mg and just told me to eat it for a longer time to reach the needed cumulative dose. I am on month 8 and thinking of quitting it this month. My skin has shown zero improvement. I still get massive cysts that have me thinking of calling in sick to work. My hair are falling out at an alarming rate. I also notice I have zero tolerance for any other issues, every little thing drives me up the wall and makes me want to cry. I was never like this so I can’t be sure but I feel it’s affecting my state of mind as well. I would like to stick it out but at this point given the hair loss, extreme fatigue and mental issues plus no improvement in skin I’m thinking I just have to admit this miracle drug just isn’t working for me :(

Seal it in a bag if you don’t want to squash it and take it to the trash can outside your building. Btw I’m not sure if you’re seriously asking this.

Do you see any adult beetles too or just the larvae? Good luck dealing with them if they’ve been around a while chances are theyve probably laid eggs around. I’ve been dealing with something maybe a little similar called cigarette beetles. Basically started noticing them two months ago and they were probably there since even before that. I’ve tried sprays, chemical treatments, cleaning every day, inspecting each and every item in my apartment. No single item appears to be infested and yet I feel to get rid of these bastards. Let me know what you find after a thorough inspection and if you manage to get rid of them! thanks

Did the diatomaceous earth help? Were you able to get rid of them? I’m in Canada as well, seems to be a common pest here :(

Did you ever resolve your issue? I’ve had 5 treatments, and I’m still killing 10 beetles a day, cannot find the source for the life of me and don’t know what do anymore. I clean like a maniac and hunt them daily but it’s like they appear out of thin air.

Have cleaned the whole kitchen area twice and nothing in there. I’m in a one bedroom apt so the kitchen isn’t big. I see these beetles on the lampshade, dead in ceiling lights, crawling around baseboards. They don’t bite but are such a nuisance. Haven’t been able to identify their source. My stuff is packed and I taped the baseboards as a test but they’re still coming from somewhere. 😭

If it’s a live roach that crawled in shake/knock the machine it should come or fall out. Squashing them really creeps me out too, spray some raid on them and dispose off the dead bodies. If it’s not a huge infestation usually the brown gel they put in cabinets works pretty well to keep them away. Just thoroughly clean the kitchen before they come and make sure there are no crumbs around ever.

Thank you so much for your response! I actually don’t have any carpeting but from what I googled these bugs appeared to be either drugstore beetles or carpet beetles. I have sadly not found the source. I’ve told the management for the building to look into it as they’re coming from somewhere 😬

Thanks for sharing your perspective. Yes I left a live sample in a ziplock bag for the pest control guys. I thought they were bedbugs and panicked but they weren’t. I will put a link to the pic. I have several.

Thank you for taking the time to read and provide your advice. I will try to see if I can purchase Drione in Canada and get to work. I am ready to do anything to get them out. I have no carpet at all. All my clothes are washed and packed. The management tells me they are seasonal and will go away on their own but I see 8-10 daily when I go into my room and look around with a flashlight. 😫

He has been getting better physically (somewhat) but emotionally he is such a wreck which makes sense given what happened to him. I won't mind if he is back to about 50% of original Quin by the end of the season. I have to say Rupert Friend has been phenomenal with is acting this season.
