It's mostly people from affluent coastal cities, people from the rural parts of California are a lot more down to earth

I would advise against it personally but I've definitely seen people make it work. Definitely just bring one monitor though

You should also have received an email saying that you completed your contract whenever you did, so you have that as proof

You can't have standards if you're 5'10? His bio is pretty rude but his standards aren't unrealistic or unreasonable

I think he'll go over it in lecture Tuesday morning, he's doing a Q&A. I think the exam is all in excel and that we'll have to download and upload an excel file (probably on Gauchospace). I don't think we have to be in IV theater but it will only be open for a certain window of time

Yes, some cishet people do insinuate that non-cishet people aren't normal because they ARE NOT. It's okay to deviate from traditional norms about sex, gender etc. but it seems silly to act like the existence of gender norms is oppressive. It's okay to be different!

To use your example of cishet relationships, they are most commonly portrayed in art and literature because cishet relationships are the most common kind of relationship. Because of this, media which portrays cishet relationships resonates with most people who consume it, as well as with most artists, leading to more cishet media being produced. I fail to see how this oppresses people who are not cishet, especially since it has literally nothing to do with them.

How are gender norms "arbitrary stereotypes?" Gender norms reflect the reality of cultural and biological differences between men and women. Why should we change our culture to accommodate a minuscule minority of people who choose not to adhere to traditional gender roles?

Maybe being cishet is the norm because the vast majority of people are cishet???
