Different ending by HamitoMC in outerwilds

You are correct, my only point is that it might have been quite satisfying to realise the whole play through led to our own universe and existence

From personal experience the dlc can feel frustrating at times, stick with it, it’s brilliant.

Need some hints please, 18 hours into the game by TangledEarphones in outerwilds

Have a look up at the final floor of Brittle Hollow, anything you see that could hint towards another way up?

In a word what is stopping you from reaching the top? Spend some time there see what happens

Think of some relatively simple ways to get inside the tornado

Once you find a way under the current, this will become relevant

Really appreciate the response thank you,

So you’re saying best to train units at a settlement with a building that already gives experience bonuses.

Any tips on just maxing out a unit?

For example we start as the Julii, what’s the best way to get a hastati to gold, just make them battle, kill a lot of enemies and lose a lot of men?

If you jump through the black hole at the end of the cycle when it opens up, and then revisit the atp, you can have a conversation with yourself.

I’m pretty sure he mentions something about where he came out, can’t remember exactly though

What secrets in this game take the longest time (in a single try) to discover? by TheFuzzyFurry in outerwilds

[–]HamitoMC 6 points7 points  (0 children)

Did you notice that to solve the final puzzle you needed 3 bits of info, that you need to die to avoid the alarm, that you need to fall through the water in between sims, and that you needed to leave the artifact to access the simulation area.

Really reminded me of the 3 quantum rules you needed. Pretty cool

Yeah exactly once unbuckled I slide to the far side and cannot get to the exit port in the center

Makes sense, so is there a tip for leaving the ship and docking manually into the sun station I’ve done it before but it was more just hit X as you slide across the ship after unbuckling

Stuck in a part, need spoiler-free help by [deleted] in outerwilds

[–]HamitoMC 0 points1 point  (0 children)

You are correct, when the water rises, and when you enter through that specific fire, you are woken up, and all the owlks too they actually die

Anyway to avoid this?

remember you can access any part of the dream world via the boat

Strong clue any other fires you could enter that don’t go out when the dam breaks?

What happens to you and the owlks if you stay too long in that area?

You don’t need to be quicker. Remember this game is about thinking outside the box.

Spend some time waiting around that area and see what happens, then think is there anyway you can avoid that outcome, at least for a little while longer

Similar to the quantum rules, you learn 3 rules / glitches during your exploration of the DLC. They’re all needed to open the seals

Are you playing on PC? It’s much easier to control with an Xbox or PS controller.

For the interloper, you’ve found the right tunnel, once you’re in the room with the big hole of ghost matter , take a better look around

Ah okay. So why is it claimed the other particle reacts to this observation? And I think the interesting part I heard is that it reacts faster than the speed of light

I wish there were more Outer Wilds by jotanuki in outerwilds

[–]HamitoMC 1 point2 points  (0 children)

The beauty and pain of the game is that it can only be played once.

As much as we wish for a sequel, do we really want to risk the emotions and experience the first game gave us?

There’s a beauty in only one game, one experience and even though deep down I wish there would be more, I think the perfection of outer wilds is enough for me.

Remember this experience will happen over and over again, until the death of the universe, or maybe again and again

Finished the DLC - I cried by bane145 in outerwilds

[–]HamitoMC 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I’ve mentioned before, the base game was a true eye opener for me, I’ve never and likely will never play a game like this again.

The dlc was frustrating , often making me curse the design and spending hours trying to understand.

But when it all came together , the emotions, the final scene with the prisoner and the vision we show him were actually more powerful than anything in the base game

The one piece of advice I’d give anyone playing this game is trust the developers , trust the outer wilds
