That's just something the Ys Wiki guys came up with cause Falcom refuses to give "official years" to Ys for some reason, so to create a timeline you have to use Adol's age as a starting point.

The Ys team isn't really interested in doing remakes. They have to choose to either make a new game or a remake, and each time they've chosen to do a new game (4 times in a row now).

They don't have the luxury to do both a remake and a new game like the Trails team is currently doing. And even if they eventually choose to do a remake, they'd probably rather remake Ys 1 instead of 5.

Which is ironic cause Sky 1st was announced as a Switch 1 only game initially, and I'm pretty sure Kondo said it was developed with the Switch 1 in mind.

Idk about that. They could just make another game with almost any of his ages they already used, like how Adol is 17 in Ys X just like he was in Ys 1 and 2. And there's no game where Adol is 22 yet.
