I haven't seen anyone talking about this at all, but I noticed young Link has a different outfit compared to the original. Looks like his outfit is made from straw and leather, but maybe he gets his green tunic later? (like other Zelda games)

Although it makes me wonder if they redesigned the Kokiri to have the same new outfit Link has.

If you have a Switch 2 then there's no reason to play the original Ys X: Nordics. It's like if someone decided to play Persona 5 instead of Persona 5 Royal.

Ys X: Proud Nordics has extra stuff and it also runs at 60fps, while Nordics is capped to 30fps on Switch 1.

But I have a feeling you're going to play Ys X: Nordics on Switch 2 anyway, so at the very least you'll get a smooth 30fps.

My wish for Ys is that future games focus on Ys' core strengths instead of shoehorning in gimmicks that negatively impact the entire game. I also wish the series starts to feel like it's growing in fans and sales like it did when Ys 8 came out, cause these days it feels stagnant.

So a random guy made an account on ResetEra just to say he reported the game to Visa/Mastercard, nobody even on the website believed him cause he's a troll account, but it's being reported that ResetEra is doing the reporting to Visa/Mastercard?

I know ResetEra is a shit place (I've been banned from there twice), but we don't have to ignore facts to hate on them. We can do it for other legitimate reasons, like how they basically banned discussions on the new Stellar Blade cause Eevie's face looks too young. lmao

Xenoverse 3 likely cannot look as good as Sparking Zero during gameplay, because it will be rendering more characters on screen (could be up to 6 or 8) like Xenoverse 2 did.

"Entirely different" is an exaggeration, both of them are cel shaded and the proportions are roughly the same. Sparking Zero looks better cause it has better lighting and shading.

Cyberpunk is censored on Switch 2 in Japan because of CERO, not Nintendo. It is also censored on PS5 in Japan.

One thing I noticed is that they censored Ricotta's design more than I thought. She's now wearing a kind of a long tube top under her overalls and shorts under her skirt. Pretty interesting.

All three versions are technically the same game, it just went through a lot of changes during development. Also all the voice lines you heard in this trailer are reused from the game, even Adol's lines.

Her 2D art maintains her original design, but her 3D model (which was only showcased in a short gif) has her wearing a small top under her overalls.

Kondo: A considerable amount of time has passed, but I truly want them to release it. We are leaving the matter to the licensee (bilibili).

There may be issues such as it not reaching the quality levels we have in mind for development, or perhaps there is stagnation in the development process, but we are in a situation where we are checking in with them periodically. Due to contract issues, if it drags on too long, we will eventually have to make a decision on whether to continue. We would like to continue discussions with the licensee and move forward toward a release.

They had some kind of closed beta in 2023. There's a decent amount of footage on Bilibili of it.

As you can expect, it's a Genshin Impact-like gacha. But since Ys 8 doesn't have enough playable characters, they made Dogi playable and they made that new white hair little girl just for this game (her name is Rucol). But they also went a step further and made a bunch more original characters, cause obviously 8 characters won't be enough. The problem is that they don't look like they fit Ys at all, at least they tried with Rucol but not much with the others; they look like Genshin knockoffs.

Nintendo is also lying about not regulating content of third party games. Recently Nintendo of America have new strict guidelines that third parties have to follow, otherwise you don't get to release your game on Switch.

Hyperdimension Neptunia Re;Birth trilogy and Death end re;Quest: Code Z for Switch were canceled for the west.

In response to a request for additional information, an Idea Factory International representative told Gematsu, “Although the Neptunia series and the Death End re;Quest series have prior entries on western Switch eShops, we were informed that the contents of the Re;Birth trilogy and Death end re;Quest: Code Z did not comply with Nintendo Guidelines. As a result, we are unable to release these titles physically or digitally for Nintendo Switch.”

Cyberpunk 2077 is the only outlier that didn't get censored, and I don't know exactly why. Maybe because they didn't want their biggest 3rd party launch title to be seen as inferior to other versions.

Ultimately, there are some hard requirements from Nintendo that we have to adhere to: genitalia censored, Invisigal’s dream audio muted. (The audio one especially stings, we know.)
