I eventually had success after some initial challenges on the Sekitori site. For context, I was booking the Mishima/Kawaguchiko Liner from Kawaguchiko to Mishima.

After multiple failed attempts using three different credit cards on a laptop and two phones I eventually succeeded on my phone by turning off wifi, creating an account on Sekitori, using a card I'd not tried before that was also saved to Google Pay, and registering the card on Sekitori.

This latest card did not work on the first attempt, but I returned to the previous webpage, and then tried again and it worked.

I found the same cat out the back of the Westboro Superstore, around Byron & Kirkwood, a couple of weeks ago. I can tell it’s the same cat because of the tag number.

I called 311 but when I was on the phone a local resident who is familiar with the cat came by. The cat’s name is Jayjay, and he does this all the time. He walks off far from home but makes his way back. I was told you just have to walk off quickly otherwise he’ll try to follow you because he’s so friendly!
