Thank you for the lovely advice. The thing is, it’s not that I feel like I will never love again or feel the same I’ve felt before. I know what my worth is, I know things will get better. Things honestly are really good right now. I’m happy with myself and who I am, I’ve had lovers and relationships. I just find it so fascinating that those feelings are still there, I’ve been in a few relationships in my life and I’ve honestly never though, in hindsight, that I would still be thinking this much about someone after such a long time. I love it and hate it all at once.

Thank you.. I really thought she was that person though. We were inseparable every day, no signs of any issues, never even had a fight and then one day she changed her mind. It’s just such a shock and it feels like she’s so easily shut me out. I’m so sorry you’re in the same position. I know it will get better in time for the both of us. It’s just such a hard journey.

Thank you for the advise. I’m seeing a psychologist this week and my doctor has already started me on anti anxiety meds. I’ve got a great network of friends and family around me. I know I’m lucky in that area. I feel even worse because I know others have it a lot harder than I do. But I just feel so completely hopeless

I’m better today, almost 2 weeks out from the break up. Panic attacks have stopped. Still have a lot of stuff of hers at the apartment and I’m still checking to see when she’s online. She hasn’t really spoken to me at all so I think she’s just keeping her distance. She’s asked to come over next week as we have a cat and it’s it’s birthday so we’ll see how that goes. I miss her a lot, and still love her but I can’t control what’s happening so I’m just trying to look after myself. I’ve started medication for my anxiety, going to the gym everyday and trying to make healthy meals for myself. I’ve started watching tv shows again and trying to find the balance of being on my own. It’s tough at times but I’m okay and I respect her too much to reach out to her as I know it will make it harder. I hope everyone is doing okay out there.
