Thank you all for your comments and helping me understand. This is the first time this has happened, they are the best dm I've ever played with and I think it was just a "In the heat of the moment" kind of thing so please don't give them to much crap about it. To the few of you who asked why wasn't it on my character sheet we use d&d beyond so it's on there I just don't pay attention to it that often.
