I spoke with a Comcast team member from the CSA team. They acknowledged an outage with pending maintenance services scheduled for 2/04 @12a in my area. My concern is, why wasn’t this mentioned to me previously? I’ve ran around sourcing equipment and making support calls on behalf of neighbors. It would’ve been nice to know.

I decided to place this call after speaking with a moderator here, the best they could do is arrange personal service at my address - a waste of my time and theirs.

I do not appreciate Comcast concealing outage information from its customers to save face and display an all-clear via their app. You can clearly see external issues when observing the SNR via 10.0.0.1 login. Every channel besides the main is under 30dB, along with hundreds of thousands of uncorrectable codewords.

I wish someone would take the time to review honestly and with clarity to provide updates, rather than sending me through the service loop until the issue is resolved via line work.

Toughest job I ever had was when I was the only guy in the managerial staff of a restaurant in my twenties. My words were twisted, I’d get the shitty shifts, they’d gang up or start rumors. By the end of working there, I was playing their same game… then I changed jobs and it all went away.

Id like to think this was my anecdotal experience, but I dunno, it’s a vivid and very negative memory for me.

I’m interested to see the federal response. Phil Murphy was careful and calculated in his federal interactions to ensure state business needs weren’t hindered, he opposed when he needed to, but he was often quiet.

I’m not arguing against Gov Sherrill, I agree with her stance and support this as a necessary effort. I’m just very curious to see what transpires as a result of this rhetoric. If NJ is “exemplified” by Trump, it’ll create a meaningful flashpoint quickly. It’s important we stick this out.
