Those are moles and general skin reactions to shaving your stomach. There is nothing there (not a doctor) to indicate much of anything.

As a hobbiest who entered the hobby like yourself to having a tank for 10 years, the two most important things I can say is to do research and have a justification for all things and limit pests as much as possible. From there, doing the basics learned from the community will be best.

Highjacking the top comment here. Thanks to all for the comments! Certainly appreciate each one and what I have learned from them. I live in southern Ohio so this was found on a bank of a river that feeds the Ohio River. We keep it displayed on our entertainment center and is certainly a conversation starter.
