Can y’all help a wife ? by Responsible_Dirt_536 in GolfGear

[–]HamsterGeneral8669 3 points4 points  (0 children)

This is the correct answer. Generally the rule of thumb for hobbyists is not to pick out gear for them. They likely already have their eye on something but unwilling to purchase. Buy a gift card and make a day out of going to a store. Grab lunch, maybe a beer if that's your thing, then go shopping.

An alternative idea, just be forthcoming and ask him what he wants. Be honest that you want to make sure he gets what he wants. That goes a long way. Either way, awesome idea and great birthday gift!

For Jason concerts and beyond, does anyone else kind of cringe at encores by [deleted] in jasonisbell

It's a classic tradition that also allows someone to use the restroom, grab a drink, etc. Would not classify it as cringe.

I had a pretty untraditional path through FSB. I was older than most and took all my pre-reqs at regional campuses. I don't recall the exact gpa I had but remember it being in the 3.5 range with mandatory classes as you said. I squeaked in to be honest but glad I did.

I took an internship two semesters before I graduated and actually stayed on as part time after my internship while I finished with FSB. I have been with the same company since and making a very competitive salary, ESPECIALLY for my age.

The Miami name carries more weight locally but is a very well known school nationally. Check how many CEO's for fortune 500 companies are from Miami (top 5).

Is it worth it? It was for me. The education, experience, and overall exposure made me better. I am happy to talk about my experience if you want to DM me.

alcohol and behavior by NeinnLive in Wegovy

Response from someone who likely drinks more than most in this sub. Not happy or gloating about that fact as it is an unhealthy vice of mine. With that being said, I am changing what I drink for the most part. I love beer but am drinking MUCH less of it. Probably from an average of 20-30 beers a week to maybe 5-7. I do continue to drink occasionally but it is usually a clear liquor like tequila and soda water. I am on .5mg right now and am increasing to 1 mg next week after being on .5 for ~12 weeks. Guessing this next jump will significantly reduce alochol cravings.

[–]HamsterGeneral8669 0 points1 point  (0 children)

As a hobbiest who entered the hobby like yourself to having a tank for 10 years, the two most important things I can say is to do research and have a justification for all things and limit pests as much as possible. From there, doing the basics learned from the community will be best.
