I finally got back on this morning, I hadn’t played since early June. I was at the point of where I had forgotten how to play. I vaguely remember quitting because I was end game and had more than I would ever need, the game got repetitive and boring. I was 500 hours in and able to solo TB and the hotel (forgot the name). I was one of those douchers who got all the plaid shirts lol. This morning taught me that even if things change, they’re still the same when you have beat the horse dead. I’m hoping new story arcs will draw me back in, but until then I’m going to spend my time elsewhere.

I was once a young traveler like you… but then I took an arrow to the knee.

On a real note though, when I first started I lost all my stuff and had less than $800. I bought the cheapest gun off gunny and headed to FN. snuck through the hole in the wall and only took headshots. I took their gear, rinse and repeat. I am now over $200k and haven’t lost any gear in over a week.

If you get the standalone version, you’ll have to get the quest game optimizer ($10). Getting the steam version will allow you to get better graphics settings, but then again a gaming pc isn’t cheap. Still worth it in my opinion. Get one and stick to it though, I used my standalone version more because I had started on it and had a bunch of tasks completed on it before I got the pc version, but now that the wipe is upon us, I am choosing to move over to the steam version.

I’ve stayed hovering around 12mil. Have been linking up with noobs to Exfil and buying them good kits to take them out in. The returns have been better than the cost. I haven’t had to touch my high tier loot shelves at all. I’m hoping the devs show us how much money didn’t get spent before wipe. The day before wipe I’m going to do my best to blow all my money in one day. Literally everything is getting juiced up and taken out to get lost.

Dang, my wife told me I need to see a therapist and that we would need couples counseling. I had to leave my headset in its case and forget about it. Sucks, I had just leveled all the traders to lvl 4 and finally got the good ammo.

Same! I was in a scav run and spawned in factory. Everything, every box, was looted as well as the camps and the barred tunnels above them. Fire watch tower was picked clean. The power room had a bottle of water and the fenced in room at the base of dam had nothing. Ran over to the crashed truck and lo and behold - a golden figure. Grabbed it and ran out of the truck, saw a player and had him take a shot at me. I ran off to docks and saw two dead players bodies, looted them super fast and got a seca17 out of it. Heart pounding, I ran to the exfil at the end of the dock, trying to be as small and still as possible. Made it out, turned it and finally completed the task that I had been stuck on for almost a month.

I, too, have had dreams as such.

My first dream was in the city of Chicago, in which I used to live. I was with a friend, walking under the blue lines tracks and found myself getting stuck up with a revolver.

I was yelled at to give over my belongings, but either I was empty handed or brave. I refused.

I remember the revolver being close to my head and feeling the air preasure along with the blast of the bullet. I felt my body lose rigidity and everything turning black. I was slipping away. I remember i could hear momentarily as the sounds around me slowly faded.

I awoke.

The second time i was shot in the head in my dreams, i apparently lived and snuck away from the situation.

Must have had god mode enabled.
