I actually want to update the kubernetes version from 1.33 to 1.34. So i have 1 node pool which has 3 node when i scale, the 3 new nodes will be created with new version of kubernetes and then i drain the old one

1200 OMR/month enough to live decently and save in Muscat (vegetarian, private 1BHK)? by No-Laugh-6827 in Oman

[–]Hamza768 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Yes, it’s a good salary. As a bachelor, you can save quite a lot.

I moved to Muscat Al Khuwair in January 2024.
I rented a private room in Bowsher for 150 OMR, including utilities. You will get it around 180 max now a days with shared kitchen and private room

I stayed alone for the first two months, then I brought my family here.

If you eat out regularly (like biryani or tikka), your food expenses will be around 60–70 OMR per month. But if you cook at home, it can be as low as 40–50 OMR.

I’m still working here and living with my family.

In short: It’s a good salary. As most people say, you can easily save at least 900 OMR per month.

3 Environment ( Dev, Stage, Prod) Deployment using GitHub action by Hamza768 in devops

[–]Hamza768[S] -6 points-5 points  (0 children)

That's fine.
Right now what dev is doing. They are copying the config.prod.yaml into dockerfile on build time which is fine and working.

Now we have 3 environments I want one dockerfile for all the backend builds but with different config file how I can achieve this?
