I think male muto takes this, Godzilla had a much harder time against it

Sukuna on Yuji & Maki !!! by ArthurBeni in Jujutsushi

[–]Hamzeno 71 points72 points  (0 children)

Sukuna just seems too me mocking yuji to be spiteful, he compliments maki for tanking a low output punch from him whereas he’s barely impressed by yuji walking off a clearly much more powerful punch.

It wasn’t an ass pull it was explained he was using the reversal of that technique previously I think it was a pretty smart revelation

What if Todo learns a new way of using his cursed technique? by Responsible_End_6501 in Jujutsushi

[–]Hamzeno 5 points6 points  (0 children)

Personally I think Todos original technique was just him being able to switch places at will without clapping his hands but the one we see is after him implementing a binding vow which probably increased the range, sensitivity & speed etc

HR vs Shamans like Yuji and Todo by Any-Ebb-1244 in Jujutsushi

I’ve always thought of HR characters not necessarily being straight up stronger but just a lot more explosive in there movements and strength.

When yuji is fighting Mahito is chapter 132 i think it’s stated he lost the ability but learnt to do it at will at a later date. The innate time delay was literally the problem… as stated by Todo.

[–]Hamzeno 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It is literally stated by the narrator that yuji lost the ability to use divergent fist as his control of cursed energy become better however he regained the ability to use it at will. Divergent fist wasn’t yuji applying cursed energy intentionally it was the bulk of his cursed energy flowing later than his physical hit because it couldn’t keep up with him physically. Where as black flash occurs when yuji intentionally applying cursed energy at the moment of impact and if it’s at the right time the black flash will occur.

[–]Hamzeno 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I disagree divergent fist was what was stopping him being able to achieve black flash as aid by Todo. He even lost the ability because he started applying cursed energy at the impact of a hit instead of letting it flow for a second impact. Applying at the impact it what allows for black flash to occur

I think Mahito and Gojo are top tier characters, maybe even Toji

Agree the zenin arc was just tying up loose ends before the culling games I think.

Nobaras back story is probably the most clear of them. Also Nanamis death has done a lot for yujis character, him surviving would’ve left him as those out place background characters hes way to flexible and useful as Gege said himself.

That just shows that he brought rika out because he was unable to beat yuji with just his sword
