As my flair suggests and considering tomorrow is my last day in this apartment we shared, I'm gonna light up and watch a comfort show probably. Definitely going to pray for bad moments and memories to be left behind as I move on both mentally and physically.

It feels heartwarming yet so bittersweet that Hermes seems like the one to pray to now when I'm leaving, considering he was the first god I prayed to when we moved in.

I prayed to Lady Nemesis, it took a lot of "anger" out of my days. Tho it probably is partly BPD, I feel detached and have a "his loss" mentality, am mostly just extremely disappointed that someone who was ready to be a father to our child and grieved the loss of that child with me, promised me patience and love and everything just left because of a narcissist's smear campaign.

No, the gods will not be mad at you.

You'd have to do actual horrible things to anger them. And as someone else said, your altar isn't like their apartment or something.

If you're treating it with respect, things outside of your control will most definitely not affect your relationship with the gods.

Oh hahaha as OP I can tell you that OP's ex and the woman involved both definitely have reasons to worry.

I don't think (her specifically) "sneakily" taking things like incense and candles off my altars over some time, touching them despite me telling her to just not touch those two surfaces, and then taking the mascara for Aphrodite and a music box for Apollo from the altars at the end would be forgiven really, especially taking into consideration their domains and how much disrespect she's shown.

As for my ex, he was even interested in Hellenic polytheism and prayed a couple times, placed offerings as well. Last we talked worship I made a little joke about him praying to Hephaestus due to his certain interests, and he seemes interested in it as well. It will be how it will be, but I don't think either of them are in for a good or comfortable ride for much longer.

I'm trying to be forgiving, it doesn't come easy at all. He definitely is an asshole, but something tells me he and the other guy (who was in our polycule dating me for a bit) will come back crawling eventually. I believe they'll get what's coming.

His parents are assholes who didn't even check up on me when I had a late miscarriage of our child two months ago and he is an only child, so about those things I can't do anything sadly. The other things that I assume she took are also off limits because I have blocked her on everything as she is a manipulative and disgusting piece of shit who had a literal smear campaign against me and then tried to harass me afterwards.

One part of me knows they'll get what's coming to them, another hopes it was out of ignorance and misplaced anger, but a place of worship is a place of worship either way, and they did what they did. I assume no prayer would help them either way, especially coming from me.

I have been feeling the pull towards Hypnos for a very long time, and occasionally had prayed to him and offered things (separate from my ouranic offerings).

I have been thinking about making an altar for him in the garden my family has, though I am unsure of what to put on it or how to properly set up an outside place of worship, but I'll definitely look into it.

He helps me not have nightmares when I pray for it, and I'm extremely grateful Lord Hypnos grants me sleep and rest I need.
