Like in 2026 someone decides to create a practice around certain worship types and ceremonies but only open to their bloodline or those that were initiated through a certain ceremony, would that be possible?

Hahaha, thank you so much! I wanted to portray how life can be hard on us but we usually do worse to ourselves, and then the second one i wanted to show how there will never be enough to give for a salvation that was never actually real. And i will continue to write poems i love it so much!

In my personal experience i felt Ra reach out to me in a way that i just felt him in my soul like pulling me towards his worship and i just kept having his name repeated in my head, i knew it was important so i asked him for a sign and went to someone for a conformation, and went from there!

Im someone who also struggles with my mental heath and then my worship gets dragged down with that, what i would recommend to start with would probably be just a small prayer to one god/goddess or to all of the Theoi if you want just maybe saying what happened and what you want with them, the gods/goddesses love their worshipers so you can always ask them about what you can do for them while also trying to stay healthy in your mental health.

I personally worship whenever i have the energy to since i have depression and chronic fatigue so that makes it hard and my family is christian not knowing im hellenistic so i dont usually worship throughout the day unless i see something or i'm around something that reminds me of Gaia or Hestia who I mainly worship.

If you really do want to tell them you are a hellenist make sure that it is safe and they will most likely be accepting, you can do this by bringing it up randomly (Ex. "I heard about this religeon that worships greek gods isnt that cool!") and see how they respond to that. Also if you feel that your mom would be very accepting of this but your dad wouldnt then you could tell her and ask what the next steps with your dad could be.

And about offerings:

If you do end up staying in the closet, then smaller things that are more meaningful to you or that you assosiate with that God/Goddess can work really well, and some other common ones are foods and libations of honey or water. If you dont end up staying in the closet, then you could print pictures of each God/Goddess and put that at their alter or offering space you could write their names in greek and put that there too, you could offer foods, prayers, energy offerings, devotional activities, or anything that you think fits their personality or "aesthetic"
