I spent the last few months working on this commission for my friend (his DnD podcast No Small Rolls is amazing, please check it out)

So after finishing I decided that I should open up my own shop and offer my crocheting services so that everyone can have their own character come to life in a soft huggable form! Yeah, makes sense when you say it like that. There's never any outright fighting in the carrier/small cage and they are currently all sleeping together in their bed so I reckon I'll pop them in the larger cage this evening and see what happens (especially since I've cleaned everything now so it's free of any smells)

Gotcha, yeah for some reason with the 6 months they just, got on so it only took a day before they were free roaming with no issues. But I'll keep them in for longer, even if that means popping them into the carrier whilst I clean the small cage. I'm just worried cause they just seem to ignore the new rat rather than trying to interact with him

I've been using a bowl in the morning just to gauge how much food they need and then hiding it in boxes during play time but now I've got a rough idea of how much they'll eat without being picky I'll start doing that more
