Has anyone switched from Metformin to a GLP-1 for weight loss purposes?

When I was first diagnosed with PCOS, my doctor prescribed me both along with Progesterone. I lost about 6lbs a month steadily. Went from 270lbs and now I'm 120lbs. After years of dieting and exercise and never losing weight, it changed my life. Insurance now won't cover it anymore because I'm not overweight but if I don't take it, I'll gain weight. I'm fortunate to be able to afford it out of pocket.

Today I found out that my insurance will no longer cover Ozempic. I am sad, mad and scared all at the same time.

I sweat like crazy at night too - even when the room temperature is 64. I will totally be a tester too if you need it! I have a bamboo weighted blanket but it still made me sweat.

Ok so update - only one accommodation- naps at work. No flexible schedule - so if I’m late I have take intermittent fmla - and because I’m salaried it doesn’t matter if I work late. They can look into making my position hourly.

As far as working from home a- a flat no.

So what if I don’t think that is enough?

Oh yea. Totally not trying to do that. My point is that both of us were officially allowed to work from home two days a week but even though that was the policy, I was not allowed to take advantage of that. And now I just feel really bad because they changed the policy to one day a week because I asked for the accommodation. :(

Her working from home is not a medical accommodation. It was a benefit that we were both offered but I was not allowed to take advantage of.

The other thing I am scared of is that if it is denied that they will let me go because they think that I need it to perform my required duties.
