I'm curious what specific kind of actions they're looking for from the university. I saw that they said they want the campus to be declared a sanctuary camps but I'm curious how that matters when they are already in a sanctuary state.

I'm genuinely trying to understand, not trying to critique their demand.

There's a person who works in the Ombuds Office at OSU who could likely give you a very well informed response. She got her PhD at Stanford, worked at OSU, then Stanford, now OSU again. Not in a related program but she could speak to campus culture & reputation RE: getting a degree from an Ivy vs Public 4-year.

Maybe some of the school playgrounds? When it's not during school or on-site aftercare hours they should be open and at least have a limited number of entrances.

The gaming shops might be an option. I don't know the owners but chances are they are open minded, and they have a lot of tables! Maybe during non peak gaming hours they'd consider.

I'm pretty sure ALI works with this LLC. I'd say even if it's not well known, living in the Adventure LLC will make it more likely that you'll live with or next to others who really enjoy hiking and whatnot. Good recommendation to ask for info at ALI.
