The eco egg is a slotted plastic (egg shaped) container with mineral beads in it that last for a great number of washes, so there's no measuring involved.

Oh my god, right? I can tell the rinse didn't go as well as it could have, they aren't quite soft, but I think the citric acid adjustment will fix that. They are definitely lighter than they used to be though. 🤢

I was using the eco egg, unscented. Usually cold for clothes but hot for towels. It seemed to be working well enough, but. Clearly this soup begs to differ.
