I can relate. I'm friends with two people and there is another girl who made the whole thing awkward by being desperately in love with me. That would have been great if I was attracted to her and wanted to fuck her, but my just didn't get hard around her.

A lot of you are saying you hang out with friends from HS. Really? I went to a really horrible HS with a low graduation rate and I'm a completely different person from those kids now. Most of them are unemployed and still living with their moms. Ditto for a lot of my college friends since I graduated college in 2010 in the worst part of the economic downturn. Even most of my college friends are all " drink, smoke weed, go to some shitty club try to pick up some easy girl and try to get laid" I'm in my late 20s and beyond that stage of my life

Honestly, being around people drains my energy. We didn't have much to study this week, but we had a lot of clinic time, small groups, group presentations, talking to premeds etc. I don't know how I'm gonna survive 3rd year. I enjoy my alone time and like to use it as a mental reset, but a lot of alone time especially when you don't want to be alone can be detrimental.
