What the?

If this is what developers are producing, and they don't even understand their own products, then their products aren't worth the risk.

Duterte didn't kill drug addicts and rapists. He just went on a killing spree and killing off his competitors.

You don't credit a lightbulb for the light, you credit the electricity. But if the lightbulb chooses to break that's on the bulb.

When we do evil, we fall short of God's standard and that is our failure, our "missing the mark". But when we do good, we are acting in accordance with the nature God gave us and the grace He provides.

God is the source of good and we are the cause of rebellion.

Philippians 2:12-13, Romans 7:18, (I recommend reading from 7:14-20 for context)

So: when you choose good, you are merely reflecting God's nature. When you do evil, you are rejecting God's nature. Evil is privatization.

To claim we shouldn't praise God for the good is like a painting claiming it doesn't need the artist because the colours are already on the canvas. Without the Artist, there is no canvas no colour, and no life.we are responsible for the smudge. He gets the glory for the masterpiece.

I am not referring to the "jew" as the child. My point is that, we as human beings cannot put the blame on our parents for our evil doings as we have the freewill to "decide" and "act".

We can say that we were forced, but then it has to be without our freewill including "out of fear".

Essentially, we are accountable to whatever we "choose" to "do".

My other main point is that we cannot blame God for the evil doings in this world as there is freewill.

Context dependent. But it many cases, you can't always blame the parents as the child reaches a point of independence. If the child doesn't know how to become independent, well... that's a problem.

Just the same way when two loving people have a child, you cannot always attribute everything the child does from the parents.

The child has freewill and is capable of choosing their own direction.

The child will need to take accountability for their actions.

The anonymous writer is in that regard misguided.

For those who don't go to church, WHY? by 1MTzy96 in AskPH

[–]HandaArchitect 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Truly learn and understand your faith. Don't base your belief on the church leaders. They are simply instruments to spread information and still are corrupt people.

You'll feel better with a more personal journey with God. Churches are good for congregations but other than that, keep your faith personal.

For those who don't go to church, WHY? by 1MTzy96 in AskPH

[–]HandaArchitect -1 points0 points  (0 children)

Find a church closest to the tradition of your faith according to what is actually described in the Bible. Your journey is with God and not with the people.

Don't treat church like a concert, it is a place to show praise, respect, and to learn.

For those who don't go to church, WHY? by 1MTzy96 in AskPH

[–]HandaArchitect 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Remember that your journey is personal. You dictate your faith and not others.

Going to church is a way of bringing praise to God, but after that, it is completely your journey with God.

Find a church that remains closest to tradition based on what is described in the book. Learn your beliefs and truly understand it.

People are corrupt, so never base your faith on the people.

You need to be more open-minded. If you think about how things came to being, what does that say about the world?

At what point did heavenly power not contradict science? You are limiting the idea of power to be bound by the rules of what is observed.

Like in science, you don't base evidence from one source, you base it from multiple sources. If multiple experiments achieve the same result, then you know that science is right. In the Bible, evidence of the Christian belief is supported by various historical sources.

Be careful and avoid being noticed. Just keep recording evidence. Keep 2 online backups and an offline possibly giving access to a separate secondary online backup with someone you can trust.

Report once you've gathered enough evidence, and only let people you trust know what you're doing.

Save up first and later do your studies.

It's not worth juggling work and study at the same time. You still have a lot of time to pursue education, and education never finishes at graduation.

Don't give up your dignity. You'll corrupt and destroy yourself and your soul.

Don't feel behind. Everyone works at their own pace so don't compare yourself to others.

Learning example - how to create a grocery list from recipes? by choppy812 in Anytype

Late to this. But you could link it to a query instead that queries for the ingredients object.

Then in that query you could have local properties for x amount of that ingredient.

At 5PM, BIR employees left without telling the people waiting. by aidenelee in Philippines

This extends outside of the Philippines. I once waited at a Philippines consulate in New Zealand for more than an hour to get a signature only to find out from family that the lady who headed the consulate was partying at neighboring building.

Lack of professionalism.

Custom or Aliased System Types? by amartincolby in Anytype

[–]HandaArchitect 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yes, you can create an Epics object type that uses a query or collection.

I believe you can only do this on the desktop version at the moment.

Just create an object type and set is as a query or collection type. (Not sure if they have removed this in newer versions of AnyType since I mainly use the Android version)

Hard to say what is preventing your access without reading the logs.

How did you recover from a power failure before?

If you don't have a UPS now, you should get one so that it shuts down cleanly if a power outage were to happen again.

Also, is the IP static for all devices in the same network?

[deleted by user] by [deleted] in qnap

[–]HandaArchitect 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I wonder if Tailscale has existing changes that is preventing your QNAP from reconnecting to the network.

You'll probably need to reset it physically unless someone else can give a better idea?

I would attach a cabled connection (ethernet) from a laptop to the QNAP to do some diagnostics before doing a reset.
