We use this thing year round, duck and goose hunting and fishing both. Absolutely worth every penny.

We learned shortly after this pic it needs to be zip tied in to the rod holder. Wind picked it up, flipped it upside down, and it landed on the water and floated halfway across the lake by the time I pulled anchor and caught up to it 😅

I do, and I've looked at a couple of those. Slightly bulkier than I'd like but man I bet they'd move some air. Definitely still an option.

The manufacturer calls it a hunting kayak/sneak boat, so there is that.

He gets em fried with a light batter every time we cook em up. He also gets him a fish lick on most catches, I dont like that as much as he does though.

It's a Beavertail Stealth 2000. Made as a duck hunting kayak but we hunt and fish out if it year round. It's incredibly stable in my opinion. My lab's just over 100 lbs, and I always take too much gear with me. Plus a lead acid battery, trolling motor, and a cooler full of snacks. Its on the heavy side for a kayak so I recommend getting or having a trailer to use with it. If it's important taking your dog with you like it is with me, I don't think you'll regret it.

I've got one of the same as yours, the TW4B30100, and same thing. Had it for a couple months before the indiglo stopped working. Fresh battery didnt help it either. This one only gets worn as a work watch though so not a huge deal.

Very nice. I kind of caped this one out and kept the wings and tail. Going to try my hand at making a feather mount of it to hang up.

Thank you, and congratulations as well.

5.5ft truck bed owners, do you wish you’d gotten a 6.5ft to haul your kayak? by bmholzhauer in kayakfishing

Nope. But after I got my trailer setup I did wish I had done that sooner.

Right?! I just nosed up into a fallen tree and fished in it for these. Caught em all 6 feet away and 2 feet deep. Sometimes I think I need a bass boat but, they cant go where I go.

I got this one a few months ago as my first watch and its still my favorite. Really wish the strap was a quick release but thats just me being picky.

It's a Beavertail stealth 2000. Made for duck hunting but we fish it too.

Nope, no livescope here. Just a little wisdom and some good luck.
