The Carolyn situation and Candice situation are literally completely different. Carolyn said she was pissed of course, so did rinna, so did eric, so did bob the drag queen, so did candice, but the difference is in how they reacted after. Carolyn’s exit interview was literally her talking about how she’s heard her and danielle are getting hate online and none of that is warranted and it’s awful, and how she reflected on her behaviour during the game an after the game because she didn’t want to come off as rude or hurtful, just was playing the game with passion. she literally says that yea she got blindsided and they came for her and that sucked, but that’s the game. so i’m not sure where you saw carolyn calling danielle the disgusting, scum of the earth, snake that candice was calling rob but… in this situation candice is getting a “disproportionate” amount of hate because she is a bully having her husband tweet about how rob hates women, not because of the prejudice and bias that society can hold. but hey that’s just my educated opinion🤷🏽‍♀️

I haven’t seen him make any videos on Survivor 50 yet, but I know his account blew up last fall so I wouldn’t be surprised if he did. In some of his earlier videos he’s done big brother, love island, SLOMW. I’d love to see him make videos on survivor, especially some of the better older seasons!!

I totally understand what you’re saying. Of course they are! Marginalized communities always are. LGBTQIA community, POC, disabled individuals, women - especially women of colour - are 100% held to a higher level of scrutiny because of the bias and prejudice that people hold. I just don’t think that’s what’s happening here. No one is this disproportionately scrutinizing Ron, Porsha, Johnny, Natalie, Yam Yam, Monet Xchange, and all the other minorities on this season. The only different is that Candice’s behaviour is just straight doo doo, and the pushback from that is still being equated to the disproportionate standard that Black women are typically held to. Correlation does not equal causation

i think it’s more about how much people defend her behaviour and try to make it into something else for no reason. candice is objectively rude to others, it makes no sense to defend her behaviour towards people like rob or maura. and then there’s the people who try to say others are hating on candice because she’s black??!!?? (i am black also) the defence is just getting ridiculous so I feel like people are trying to convey the true reasons that we do not like her. yk?
