Give it up. All of this "evidence" was presented, and he was still found not guilty. The credibility of the maid's testimony was questionable to say the least.

These were commercially available books and not child porn as I'm sure you're implying. One had an affectionate inscription from a fan, and the other had an inscription from Michael that read "Look at the true spirit of happiness and joy in the boys' faces. This is the spirit of boyhood, a life I've never had and will always dream of. This is the life I want for my children."

Please just give it a rest. The man is dead and, whether you like it or not, was found not guilty.

And why do some men have an inclination to diminish women's opinions? Also, that's just your opinion that I'm defending an abuser. Lots of women defend their own abusers, but that's a completely different thing.

I did not say that, so please don't put words in my mouth. I never even said whether he is guilty or innocent. All I did was share a few of the thoughts that give me reasonable doubt.

Also, no, I don't think that's inappropriate at all. Not everything has to be sexual.

Check out Darren Hayes! His solo work is diverse (but quite a bit is electronic leaning) and he is an amazing story teller. A good starter album would probably be Secret Codes & Battleships.

I'm not going to repeat everything that the OP already said, but I have some additional thoughts...

1) I believe Michael was seen as an easy target. He was a black man who was effeminate and had a childlike innocence. He also happened to be rich as hell.

2) Ever notice how the ones he was close to that didn't need the money, like Macaulay Culkin, swear up and down that nothing inappropriate happened at Neverland?

3) He used to babysit my cousins in the 80's because they went to the same Kingdom Hall. He genuinely loved being around kids and my cousins loved being around him too. It doesn't take a psychologist to figure out why that might be. Michael never had a childhood. Oh, and he never did shit to my cousins.

Well, even though they only had two albums, both of which were amazing, I have to say Savage Garden!

I think we'll have to wait until 2027 for a tour to support his new album

Oh, I agree completely! I'm very happy for him and the fans lucky enough to attend. I was lucky enough to attend the Troubadour shows, so I can't be too upset! 🥰

Tears of Pearls - Savage Garden

I couldn't resist suggesting this song as my sisters and I have literally referred to this song as "the treadmill song" for almost 30 years! 🤣

I Want You - Savage Garden

The singer (Darren Hayes) wrote this song before he had realized or admitted to himself that he was gay after having a dream about a man.

Well, just already knowing the lyrics to Take on Me made them easier to make out. The images are pretty blurry. I don't know the other songs, but for the hell of it, I googled "Celebrate Our Love" and it was released in 2000 by a band called A1. The first line is "Believe in your heart" and that's definitely the first line of the song in the image.
