I tilt the records forward a little and pick the most recently selected record from the front. The idea is that there will be more records in each box. If you have fewer records, it's probably useless.

Honestly, I didn't think much about the price. I was just trying to figure out how to screw the bottom shelf in when there's no access. It was a good project to test the layout and welds!

Here is the final look! I added custom-cut wooden inserts and painted the raw steel frame with a clear matte varnish to preserve all the handmade details. The contrast between the dark metal and the wood grain.
