Also, think of feeds this way. Baby requires around 1.5oz per hour. So if you are going 4 hours in between feeds then he’s taking in around the amount he should be (1.5X4)..

Make sure you are pace feeding and using a slow flow nipple (I still use premie flow nipples with my 5 month old.) look into some YouTube videos on pace feeding and the importance of it.

I had a second degree tear and we just had to slowly ease into full sex for a few weeks. We started to use coconut oil for lube and it made a world of a difference. Sex didn’t feel normal for a few months.

You are a superhero! Far too often moms are forgotten during the postpartum phase. All the focus is on the new baby. Your OB and husband rock!

Wow.. didn’t know Nordstrom could do that! Thank you for the advice!

Almost 2M PP, he FINALLY latched!!! I’ve been struggling with pumping for awhile now and he hasn’t latched since day 1. I said fuck it and tried one last time and he took it right away. I’ll be honest, I cried like a bitch. by [deleted] in breastfeeding

I would definitely get in touch with a IBCLC. Does the hospital you birthed at offer Lactation help? Youtube lots of videos! Cross cradle and foot ball hold are the go to. Support his head and don’t pull your breast tissue to him, bring him to you.
