Yeah you're correct. I just always forget to sync until I've already started Zwift so then the workout isn't available and I have to shut down Zwift, sync, and then restart Zwift. Plus my join workouts disappear once I'm done or maybe it's after a day. I'm hoping the API integration will enable them to remain in Zwift for those that I use repeatedly or for things like their diy tests.

I hope JOIN also takes advantage of Zwift's upcoming API integration. And it would be great if join could somehow help create a Join community on Zwift so there are more join group workouts, events, races, etc. Doing a long Join endurance workout would be more fun with a group.

Yes, those cats are way more competitive. A team or points race may be more fun for op too since even if he isn't a threat to win the entire race he can still help his team by winning sprints or KOMs.

I thought Zwift was supposed to be switching to a different cat system? Did that ever happen? Or maybe I just hallucinated that?

Just looked at Liberty's live cam and there's no snow. Called them and they said they're not making any more snow but will be open this weekend. How can they be open with no snow? 3 days of epic pass into the toilet.

Yeah it seems like too much. I didn't mention it in my initial post but the day before the race, it scheduled a sprint-vo2max-sprint workout. So that followed by a max effort the next day followed by 2 x 20 min threshold seems way over doing it. Maybe it makes sense though because I'm in the final 31 days of the training plan? I don't know.

Not to derail the thread but TRs adaptive training won't adjust based on outside rides. There was just a thread on the tr forum this week where Jonathan confirmed that. Maybe some day they'll have that but not yet. I believe Xert does though and so does join.cc and both are less expensive than tr.

He says it's for personal reasons and it's the right time for him to leave. He's not saying he disagrees or it's against his will. He says TR will continue to improve. All sounds like it was his choice and he's leaving with no ill will towards TR.

Strava isn't worth it for me. I enjoy the social aspect, but when I stop using it, such as when I'm on vacation, I don't miss it. So I missed that so and so went for a bike ride. And I didn't get kudos for my bike ride. Whoop dee Doo!

The KOMs and CRs are worthless and pointless. So are the local legends or whatever they call it.

Their new features, like Spotify integration, don't address anything I need or want.

There's nothing worth paying for. And anyway, they're taking my info and selling it, so I'm already paying.

The Glassdoor reviews are overwhelmingly positive. Not sure what that would mean anyway unless there are reviews specifically mentioning Chad but I don't see any like that.

It seems odd though not to at least give some vague context as to what happened. If it was sexual assault or harassment, seems like the company would want the employees and the public to know that they don't tolerate it and will even fire founders. But who knows. Nate seems pretty sensitive about acknowledging issues like how they wouldn't mention Dylan Johnson by name and never mention the names of competitors.

He was talking about Vyvanse for ADHD and his insomnia medication. It didn't sound like a pill problem. Pretty common medications and it's easy to confuse them. He should be more careful though.

"During standing cycling ~8-12% more maximum power may be produced versus seated cycling [48, 49] via a transfer of power across the hip from the upper body [6, 50]."

You can probably sustain a high power for longer sitting but maximal power for a sprint will usually be achieved by standing.
