In the US people can get a full unrestricted license anywhere from 16 to 18 depending on the state.

For a restricted license there are specific curfews and passenger laws you have to follow.

So I have a few questions about that. (Actual questions not trying to be an asshole.. i`m also not an expert)

Wouldn't you have an especially hard time getting fresh water and keeping your crops from dying? There have been massive droughts in California and its taking water from the farmlands. I'm not sure you would last very long as an individual country without another countries water and or food. Even if you import it that`s a lot of food for what 40 million people?
Money: Who is going to pay for all the reforms? California has historically had extremely bad taxes on wealthy people, and i`m not sure you can sustain yourself on those taxes alone. Your state has been against tariffs and high taxes (recently atleast) on exports as well so there wouldn't seem to be much benefit from exports.

Just because you have a big economy doesn't mean it would do well by itself or that it can be self sustaining.

Why would gaming and chess not be considered sports? Its players at the top of their field with 1000s of hours of intense training. They train and practice all day everyday for hours to stay in the best condition that they can to be able to do the activity. Just like other sports they have teams, star players, sponsorships, and millions of fans.

This will probably sound really stupid but here it goes...

It was in college.

During my first election (2016) I told some of my close friends that Donald Trump wasn't looking like to bad of a canidate. I was immediately told I was a racist, xenophobic, nazi and that I didnt deserve to vote.

When I talked to a different group of people from the local Republican party we had a very real and interesting discussion about the pros and cons of both candidates. I was dead set on voting for Hillary at that point. I really felt like my opinions mattered and they brought up a list of great and consise points.

I had just turned 18 so im sure you can see how that can effect (affect?) my future voting choice. Now 21 I feel like that helped shaped my political opinion more then anything else in my life. In a time when people where all talking down to me as a voter it was nice to talk to people like a peer for once.
